Prayer Requests 4-16-22

Anyone have something to share?

Luke 23:50-56

The Burial of Jesus

50 Now there was a man named Joseph, a member of the Council, a good and upright man, 51 who had not consented to their decision and action. He came from the Judean town of Arimathea, and he himself was waiting for the kingdom of God. 52 Going to Pilate, he asked for Jesus’ body. 53 Then he took it down, wrapped it in linen cloth and placed it in a tomb cut in the rock, one in which no one had yet been laid. 54 It was Preparation Day, and the Sabbath was about to begin.

55 The women who had come with Jesus from Galilee followed Joseph and saw the tomb and how his body was laid in it. 56 Then they went home and prepared spices and perfumes. But they rested on the Sabbath in obedience to the commandment.

  1. Prayer for husband as he and daughter are off to work. They are leaving son at home due to his recent bout with thievery. And they have just had a whole new building added to their janitorial duties. Prayer that they work well and husband has wisdom as to whether to let son continue to work or if he and daughter can handle the pace or if they need to put an end to it.

  2. Twenty seems to be settling in nicely. She has become consistently pleasant in her interactions rather than manic happy or complaining. I think the routine is good for her. But keep praying as God brings her to mind! This is the longest she has stayed anywhere but here and not gotten out of control.

  3. Prayer for Tom from church. He and his wife and mom had to leave early as he was having tightness in the chest and pain in the arm. He drove himself home, she drove mom in law and herself and would take him to the hospital. I offered to go along but she declined. He is a solid believer.
