It’s Friday, so please remember to pray for Mumsee, Mike, and the Nestlings.
Anyone else?
Psalm 72
Of Solomon.
1 Endow the king with your justice, O God,
the royal son with your righteousness.
2 May he judge your people in righteousness,
your afflicted ones with justice.
3 May the mountains bring prosperity to the people,
the hills the fruit of righteousness.
4 May he defend the afflicted among the people
and save the children of the needy;
may he crush the oppressor.
5 May he endure as long as the sun,
as long as the moon, through all generations.
6 May he be like rain falling on a mown field,
like showers watering the earth.
7 In his days may the righteous flourish
and prosperity abound till the moon is no more.
8 May he rule from sea to sea
and from the River to the ends of the earth.
9 May the desert tribes bow before him
and his enemies lick the dust.
10 May the kings of Tarshish and of distant shores
bring tribute to him.
May the kings of Sheba and Seba
present him gifts.
11 May all kings bow down to him
and all nations serve him.
12 For he will deliver the needy who cry out,
the afflicted who have no one to help.
13 He will take pity on the weak and the needy
and save the needy from death.
14 He will rescue them from oppression and violence,
for precious is their blood in his sight.
15 Long may he live!
May gold from Sheba be given him.
May people ever pray for him
and bless him all day long.
16 May grain abound throughout the land;
on the tops of the hills may it sway.
May the crops flourish like Lebanon
and thrive like the grass of the field.
17 May his name endure forever;
may it continue as long as the sun.
Then all nations will be blessed through him,
and they will call him blessed.
18 Praise be to the Lord God, the God of Israel,
who alone does marvelous deeds.
19 Praise be to his glorious name forever;
may the whole earth be filled with his glory.
Amen and Amen.
20 This concludes the prayers of David son of Jesse.
Prayers for all. I always pray before logging on and am glad I prayed already for those of you going through some challenging things right now! Praying again, of course, more specifically.

Agreeing with you all in prayer for AJ. May this procedure go smoothly, and may the recovery be quick, with as little pain as possible.

Here is the latest update from the Castle twins page. (This was posted late last night, so their mention of “tomorrow” is actually today.)
At the end of this little excerpt, the scripture that is referenced is one that I also thought of and held on to after Hubby died.
“We knew there were untold trials and hardships ahead of us, but we braced ourselves, entrusted ourselves to the Lord, and stepped forward. It was the only thing to do. We had no choice but to trust the Lord. After all, to whom else would we turn? He alone has the words of life.”

I have not heard from Art since he left for work. He carried several packs of Alka Seltzer with him. I assume he is okay.
He totally surprised me when I heard him rattling the door so early yesterday. While I had been out mowing not long before, one of the workers from next door was sitting in his truck right by where I was mowing almost the whole time. The guy must have been on break since it appeared he was eating some food. But when the kitchen door rattled it made me wonder for a moment. I was relieved when I called out to see if it was Art and it was.

I just got home a few minutes ago. Had to stop and get prescriptions on the way home. The doctor removed the mass, it wasn’t deep in the wall or muscle of the bladder. This is good. Also my ureters and kidneys look good, no additional issues there. I do however have a catheter in until Monday when they will take it out. I have quite a bit of pain but they gave me something for that. I’m on bed rest until Monday.
Thank you all for your prayers.

That is good news! Sleep well. I will ignore DJ, she has been a brat in your absence. You really need to leave a responsible adult in charge when you step out. I am happy to step up, once again.

AJ, I am so glad you got the earlier appointment and were able to have the procedure done sooner rather than later. See how well God provides for us?! Holding you up in prayer. I am sure you are miserable right now. Praying that your pain will ease and it is all resolved.
