Prayer Requests 1-20-22

It’s Thursday, so don’t forget to pray for Jo, her students, and the people of PNG.

Anyone else?

Psalm 1

Blessed is the one
who does not walk in step with the wicked
or stand in the way that sinners take
or sit in the company of mockers,
but whose delight is in the law of the Lord,
and who meditates on his law day and night.
That person is like a tree planted by streams of water,
which yields its fruit in season
and whose leaf does not wither—
    whatever they do prospers.

Not so the wicked!
    They are like chaff
    that the wind blows away.
Therefore the wicked will not stand in the judgment,
nor sinners in the assembly of the righteous.

For the Lord watches over the way of the righteous,
but the way of the wicked leads to destruction.

  1. Yes, indeed. Prayers for Chas is always a good thing. As are his prayers for us.

Please continue to pray for my daughter in law (along with my son). She needs an RH negative shot at the hospital today and her COVID test came back positive. Thankful she has a pro-active doctor who will advocate for her.

  2. I am doing the school chapel today so would appreciate prayer that my words would be His words. I am reading a story from Darlene Diebler Rose when she was in prison.

  3. Prayer for oldest daughter as she has just received word that she must have the first shot by Feb 14 as they have revoked the hoping to have a baby exemption. She has had covid twice already so has some immunity. Decisions to make.
