Peter’s Pack of Pickled Pigskin Picks 2021 Week 14
It’s the week a lot of teams hope to play, but don’t get to. It’s Conference Championship weekend. It all starts Friday evening when the Conference USA gets it going. Pick your teams and see how well you do. I included the records for all the teams, overall and conference. But don’t let the numbers fool you. In college football anything can happen. (Rankings are the College Football Playoff rankings, not the AP rankings.)
So here they are, complete with a few editorial comments. Feel free to agree or disagree, just make sure to pick and post by 7:00 EST, Friday, December 3.

If he piggy-backs, it would have to be mine for it to have my name in it. Otherwise it would be Mumsee’s Mess of Mistakes, or Janice’s Jumbled Jabberwocky.
There were a couple of teams upset yesterday, so don’t be upset if you missed those games. (Isn’t English funny. Put the stress on one syllable and the word is a noun; on another and it’s a verb.) But one of us managed to predict one of those upsets, so that person wins! The game was the PAC-12 championship in which Utah demolished Oregon. So the participant from North of Utah wins this round.

A bowl game is another chance for a college football team to earn extra money. Most of them are meaningless, but now they have a few that lead to the championship. There used be be some prestige, but now a mediocre team can get a bowl bid. All they need is 6 wins.

Shall we do the bowl games?
*There were several weeks where the tiebreaker game score decided the winner. I had 4 of those and didn’t win any of those.
