  1. Scary stuff… history repeating itself.

How many of you did Nazi this coming?

Don’t expect the German people to give in easily…

“Exiting Chancellor Angela Merkel announced on Dec. 2 that Germany will lock down unvaccinated people as top officials also signaled that they would back plans for mandatory vaccinations in the coming months.

Merkel said individuals who aren’t vaccinated for COVID-19 will be excluded from nonessential stores and cultural and recreational venues. The Bundestag, Germany’s Parliament, also will consider a general vaccination mandate.

“The situation is our country is serious,” she told reporters, claiming that the new measures are an “act of national solidarity.”

Other new requirements include masks being required in schools, Merkel added. Vaccinated people will lose their vaccination status nine months after receiving their last dose of a vaccine.”

  2. It’s madness.

This is the kind of thing that ignites civil wars.

“COVID Madness: Germany Isolates Unvaccinated, Australia Arrests Escapees From Quarantine Compound”

“Insanity. Once you give these people the power they will not let it go. The craziness in Australia continues but Germany is going over the edge.

Chancellor Angela Merkel announced the country will isolate the unvaccinated from public spaces:

Merkel announced the measures after a meeting with federal and state leaders, as the nation again topped 70,000 newly confirmed cases in a 24-hour period. She said the steps were necessary to address concerns that hospitals could become overloaded with patients suffering from COVID-19 infections, which are much more likely to be serious in people who have not been vaccinated.

“The situation in our country is serious,” Merkel told reporters in Berlin, calling the measures an “act of national solidarity.”

She said officials also agreed on a nationwide requirement to wear masks, new limits on private meetings and a goal of 30 million vaccinations by the end of the year — an effort that will be boosted by allowing dentists and pharmacists to administer the shots.

Merkel said authorities plan to require staff in hospitals and nursing homes to be vaccinated against COVID-19, and she backed the even more contentious idea of imposing a general vaccine mandate. She said parliament would debate the proposal with input from the country’s national ethics committee. The mandate could take effect as early as February.

“In light of this situation, I really think it’s necessary to pass such a mandate,” Merkel said, adding that she would have voted for it if she were still a lawmaker.

The country has an almost 70% vaccine rate. I don’t know if Merkel will require the unvaccinated to wear anything for identification. But I have a feeling they’ll have to show their papers.

    You know, Germany. Yeah…”

  3. Like I said last night…..

It’s been here since before it was “discovered” in Africa 5 days ago. The traveler case is the Minnesota man who got it at a convention in NYC the 19-21st of Nov.

  4. Thank you Senator Kennedy.

This clown cannot sit on the federal bench. He’s grossly unqualified and biased.

And he just lied under oath, which is still unfitting for a judge, right?

“Things didn’t go well for Ho.

The far-left voting rights litigator ended up apologizing for his “overheated rhetoric” on social media after being justifiably decimated by Cruz, and was masterfully trapped in a yuuge lie by Kennedy after denying multiple times that he had referred to the Republican Party as an “anti-democratic virus.” All of that, as Republicans on the Senate’s judiciary panel questioned Ho’s temperament, as reported by Reuters.

Cruz jumped all over Ho and his anger issues from the outset, as reported by Fox News.

“I would note at the outset, that that’s not just my characterization. You yourself have described yourself as ‘a wild-eyed Leftist.’ Further, as someone ‘accused sometimes of seeing discrimination everywhere you look.’ Is that right?”

“Well, Senator Cruz, I think I was characterizing how others have caricatured myself,” Ho responded.

    Cruz returned serve:

“So in the last 12 months, you have engaged — or the last about 18 months — you have engaged in partisan attacks on multiple members of this committee?”

Cruz then quoted Ho from the past.

“‘In these dark times, I’ve [Ho] been fortunate to find tremendous sense of purpose in my work as a civil rights lawyer. But as a colleague of mine asked me over lunch recently, Dale, do you do this because you want to help people or because you hate conservatives?’” Cruz said, quoting Ho. He continued:

“What he was getting at is that anger can, in fact, be a tremendous source of power. For me [Ho], righteous indignation can provide a sense of moral clarity and motivate the long hours needed to get the work done. But it’s only a short-term burst. It’s not sustaining in the long run.”

So, lemme get this straight. Ho has has “short-term bursts” of anger management issues. Sounds legit.

Cruz noted Ho had “tweeted attacks” at multiple members of the Senate Judiciary Committee and that “far from being intemperate statements when you were a teenager, most of these tweets occurred last year.”

  5. Your tax dollars ladies and gentlemen….

“Stunning waste: Unemployment fraud during COVID cost more than triple total benefits paid in 2019

At least 10% of all unemployment benefits paid during the pandemic were lost to fraud.”

“Unemployment fraud exploded during the COVID-19 pandemic, according to the U.S. Labor Department Inspector General’s semiannual report to Congress.

Approximately $872 billion in federal funding was allocated to unemployment benefits in the last year, and at least 10% was estimated to be paid “improperly, with a significant portion attributable to fraud.”

This means that at least $87 billion was lost to fraud, the report said. By contrast, $27.3 billion in total unemployment insurance benefits were paid in 2019, according to the Labor Department.

The major increase in fraud is labeled a “significant” concern by the inspector general.

The watchdog office attributes it to the pandemic economy and the “unprecedented” levels of federal funding for unemployment insurance through the Coronavirus Aid, Relief and Economic Security (CARES) Act, and other legislation. This “into the UI program gave individuals and organized criminal groups a high-value target to exploit,” according to the report.

Both factors have also made it difficult for the Labor Department to efficiently distribute benefits “while ensuring integrity and adequate oversight,” according to the report.

More than 27,000 complaints and investigations related to unemployment benefits paid have been opened by the inspector general. The office is reviewing an additional 132,000 complaints from the National Center for Disaster Fraud. These investigations now account for 92% of the government watchdog’s cases. Before COVID, only 12% of the cases involved unemployment fraud.

The department “has not done enough to formally assess the various strategies available to combat improper payments,” the report warned.

In one case handled by the inspector general, a California woman was sentenced to 37 months in federal prison for “fraudulently obtaining more than $500,000 in COVID-19-related unemployment benefits by using the stolen personal information of dozens of individuals obtained from the ‘darknet” in 2020.

In another prosecuted case, an Arizona man was convicted of “possessing multiple unemployment benefits debit cards, all in different names, and intending to fraudulently obtain nearly $239,000 in benefits” just in October 2020.”
