  1. Well I was taking a couple days “off”……

    But I’m back now. 🙂

    So let’s get to it.

It’s all about the co-morbidities people, just like with the unvaccinated….

“Covid-19 Breakthrough Hospitalizations Concentrated Among Most Vulnerable
A WSJ analysis of new data sharpens picture of who is likely to get serious infections after full vaccination, with age and underlying conditions key factors”

    —-

“State reporting is inconsistent but collectively shows there have been more than 1.89 million cases and at least 72,000 hospitalizations and 20,000 deaths among fully vaccinated people in the U.S. this year, the Journal found…

The Journal reviewed medical-record data for a total of more than 21 million fully vaccinated people, and an array of state reports, to compile its analysis. In particular, people with diabetes, chronic lung disease, kidney disease and compromised immune systems were at risk of serious outcomes from breakthrough cases, the data show…”

  2. But Biden said he’d save us…..

    Just another lie….

“Despite Vaccines, the U.S. Has Lost More Lives to COVID This Year Than Last”

    https://news.yahoo.com/despite-vaccines-u-lost-more-130143018.html?.tsrc=374

“This was supposed to be the year vaccines brought the pandemic under control. Instead, more people in the United States have died from COVID-19 this year than died last year, before vaccines were available.

As of Tuesday, the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention had recorded 386,233 deaths involving COVID-19 in 2021, compared with 385,343 in 2020. The final number for this year will be higher, not only because there is more than a month left but because it takes time for local agencies to report deaths to the CDC.

COVID-19 has also accounted for a higher percentage of U.S. deaths this year than it did last year: about 13% compared with 11%.”

  3. The conspiracy minded folks would point out the obvious. If this is approved, the vaccination push would collapse, as folks wouldn’t bother. They can’t have that.

“If Pfizer’s COVID wonder drug is so effective, why hasn’t the FDA approved it yet?”

    https://hotair.com/allahpundit/2021/11/23/if-pfizers-covid-wonder-drug-is-so-effective-why-hasnt-the-fda-approved-it-yet-n431119

“Another good one from Scott Alexander of Astral Codex Ten, who made the case last week that ivermectin looks effective against COVID in some studies because because those studies were conducted in places where parasites are a major health problem. Ivermectin’s not stopping the virus, he theorized, it’s stopping roundworms from interfering with people’s natural immune response to a COVID infection.

His analysis in his latest post is much simpler. If it’s true that Pfizer has a miracle drug that’s 90 percent effective in preventing severe COVID; and if it’s also true that that drug performed so well in trials that the FDA supported ending those trials early; and if it’s further true that America is facing another killer wave of COVID this winter per the frightening surge of cases Europe is experiencing; then … why the hell hasn’t the FDA already authorized Pfizer’s drug, Paxlovid, for emergency use?

How can the drug be so effective that Pfizer doesn’t need to finish its trial but also not so effective that the FDA won’t grant an EUA immediately?

As many people including Zvi, Alex, and Kelsey have noted, it’s pretty weird that the FDA agrees Paxlovid is so great that it’s unethical to study it further because it would be unconscionable to design a study with a no-Paxlovid control group – but also, the FDA has not approved Paxlovid, it remains illegal, and nobody is allowed to use it.

One would hope this is because the FDA plans to approve Paxlovid immediately. But the prediction market expects it to take six weeks – during which time we expect about 50,000 more Americans to die of COVID.

Perhaps there’s not enough evidence for the FDA to be sure Paxlovid works yet? But then why did they agree to stop the trial that was gathering the evidence? Or perhaps there’s enough evidence, but it takes a long time to process it? But then how come the prediction markets are already 90% sure what decision they’ll make?

It wasn’t Pfizer’s scientists alone who chose to end the Paxlovid trials early due to the amazing results they were seeing. Per the company, notes Alexander, those decisions were made “in consultation with” the FDA. The agency itself was impressed enough with the partial data to find it conclusive. So what’s the hold-up?”

  4. More….

    https://astralcodexten.substack.com/p/when-will-the-fda-approve-paxlovid?r=9m3vx

“Metaculus predicts January 1 as the median date for the FDA approving Paxlovid. They estimate a 92% chance it will get approved by March.

For context: a recent study by Pfizer, the pharma company backing the drug, found Paxlovid decreased hospitalizations and deaths from COVID by a factor of ten, with no detectable side effects. It was so good that Pfizer, “in consultation with” the FDA, stopped the trial early because it would be unethical to continue denying Paxlovid to the control group. And on November 16, Pfizer officially submitted an approval request to the FDA, which the FDA is still considering.

Perhaps that 10% chance of it not getting approved is very important, because that’s a world in which it’s discovered to have terrible side effects? But discovered how? There was one trial, it found no side effects at all, and Pfizer stopped it early. And it’s hard to imagine what rare side effect could turn up in poring over the trial data again and again that’s serious enough to mean we should reject a drug with a 90% COVID cure rate.

Perhaps it doesn’t have any sufficiently serious side effects, but that 10% chance is important because it might not work? Come on, just legalize the drug! If it doesn’t work, then you can report that it didn’t work in January or March or whenever you figure it out, and un-approve it. Nobody will have been hurt except your pride, and in the 90% of cases where it does work, you’d be saving thousands of lives.”

“Operation Steel Curtain plus 10,000 state troopers and National Guard units deployed to protect Texas border”

    https://hotair.com/karen-townsend/2021/11/23/operation-steel-curtain-plus-10000-state-troopers-and-national-guard-units-deployed-to-protect-texas-border-n430984

“Last week Governor Abbott announced the use of shipping containers to create a steel wall next to the international bridge at Eagle Pass. Migrants crossing into Texas have shifted from Del Rio over to Eagle Pass in recent days. Operation Steel Curtain, a part of Operation Lone Star, uses dozens of steel shipping containers as a physical barrier and Department of Public Safety troopers lining the banks of the Rio Grande as manpower.

Operation Lone Star is a massive operation that Abbott began in March to provide supplemental border security and thwart human traffickers and drug cartels, The operation utilizes air, ground, and marine tactical border security units. Back in March, the writing was on the wall that the Biden administration has no intention of securing the southern border, and essentially, Texas is on its own. Never mind that border security is a federal obligation. The Biden border crisis is allowed to continue because of the administration’s unwillingness to protect the sovereignty of the United States. No other country would allow a constant invasion by illegal migrants on its border numbering over one million and not put a stop to it.”

“Governor Abbott is running for re-election and one of his priorities is to do what can be done on a state level to secure the border. The border is still porous, though, and with limited state resources and manpower, Abbott and law enforcement can only do so much. In other words, Texas does not have the resources that the federal government has. Frankly, it is unfair for the burden to fall of Texas. The state doesn’t have a willing partner in Washington.

Behind the steel wall of shipping containers, a fleet of Department of Public Safety patrol cars and dozens of officers are in a position to stop migrants who do make it through. Monday Abbott announced that he has deployed 10,000 state troopers and National Guard units to the Texas border as part of Operation Lone Star. The troop build-up is necessary because of reports of migrant caravans making their way north from southern Mexico.”

“Waukesha Mass Killing Suspect The Latest Violent Criminal Unchecked By Soft-On-Crime DA”

    https://thefederalist.com/2021/11/24/waukesha-mass-killing-suspect-the-latest-violent-criminal-unchecked-by-soft-on-crime-da/

“Milwaukee County District Attorney John Chisholm has launched an investigation into what he called the “inappropriately low” bail set for Darrell Brooks, Jr., the suspect in the deadly Christmas parade attack in nearby Waukesha, Wis. Sunday afternoon.

Brooks, who faces five counts of first-degree intentional homicide, was freed after posting $1,000 bail even though he faces serious felony charges in two different open cases in Milwaukee. In the most recent, he allegedly “ran [the victim] over with his vehicle” in what proved to be an ominous foreshadowing of the horror he allegedly inflicted just days later.

“The bail recommendation in this is not consistent with the approach of the Milwaukee County District Attorney’s Office toward matters involving violent crime,” Chisholm said in a news release, “nor was it consistent with the risk assessment of the defendant prior to setting of bail.”

This is a nauseating lie: Inappropriately and dangerously low bail recommendations have been a hallmark of the Milwaukee County District Attorney’s Office since Chisholm, a liberal Democrat, was first elected in 2007.

Releasing Dangerous People Into the Community
One of the nation’s first proudly progressive reformers elected as a major city’s lead prosecutor, Chisholm almost immediately implemented an “evidence-based approach” that relied heavily on deferred prosecution and early intervention programs aimed at keeping criminals out of jail. No longer would the Milwaukee County District Attorney’s Office request high bails for criminal suspects or even prosecute their crimes. Instead, they would pursue alternatives that Chisholm fully admitted would result in dangerous felons being released into the community.

“Is there going to be an individual I divert, or I put into a treatment program, who is going to go out and kill somebody?” You bet,” Chisholm said in a 2007 interview with the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel. “Guaranteed. It’s guaranteed to happen. It does not invalidate the overall approach.”

From the moment he was sworn in, Chisholm understood that his radical reimagining of criminal prosecution would result in the loss of innocent lives but, chillingly, he viewed this as a necessary sacrifice. In 2010, the Journal Sentinel reviewed Chisholm’s deferred prosecution program and found “dozens of examples that raise questions about how the…program is being implemented.”

More than 200 defendants charged with such serious offenses as felony sexual assault, armed robbery, felony assault of a police officer, felony child abuse, and high-volume cocaine trafficking were never prosecuted. Easily the most stomach-turning was Cedric B. Young, 51, who was given a deferred prosecution agreement on charges of sexually assaulting a two-year-old girl.

He faced a maximum sentence of 60 years in prison but was never prosecuted after a psychologist his attorneys hired testified that “he did not consider Young a pedophile”—even though Young admitted to sexually assaulting a baby. He was released without ever serving a day in prison.

Of the more than 900 defendants who were given these sorts of sweetheart deals, 30 percent violated them by committing new crimes, failing to appear in court, or failing to fill court-ordered requirements. At least a dozen defendants were given deferred agreements even though they already had extensive criminal records.

One of them, Shermaine Worthy, “had had at least 14 prior felony and misdemeanor convictions for drug offenses, burglary, forgery and escape before he got a deferred agreement in 2009 on marijuana and theft charges. Less than a week later, the agreement was revoked when he was arrested for breaking into a car.””

“Rape a Child? Pay $750 and You’re Back on the Streets
A 2109 study by the John K. MacIver Institute found that bail amounts for serious crimes had dropped to shockingly low levels. A suspect charged with first-degree sexual assault of a child had bail set at just $750. Felony charges of hit-and-run causing injury resulted in $250 bail. Hit-and-run causing great bodily harm resulted in bail of $500. Even hit-and-run causing death produced a bail of just $5,000.”

  9. Didn’t these idiots in charge think about how this might affect donations?

I’m thinking they aren’t getting a dime from me anymore.

I kept thinking this can’t be right. But then I looked at all the Salvation Army links to the stuff in question and sure enough, they’re pushing this reverse racist crap.

I will include those links too, look for them below and see for yourself.

“Along with coins this Christmas, Salvation Army wants white donors to offer a “sincere apology” for their racism”

    https://centralnovanews.com/stories/613274980-along-with-coins-this-christmas-salvation-army-wants-white-donors-to-offer-a-sincere-apology-for-their-racism

“The Salvation Army wants its white donors to give it more than just money this Christmas season. Its leadership is also demanding they apologize for being racist.

It’s part of a push by the Christian charitable organization to embrace the ideas of Black Lives Matter, an activist group working to, among other things, “dismantle white privilege” and “disrupt the Western-prescribed nuclear family structure.”

The Salvation Army’s Alexandria-based leadership has created an “International Social Justice Commission” which has developed and released a “resource” to educate its white donors, volunteers and employees called Let’s Talk about Racism. It asserts Christianity is institutionally racist, calling for white Christians to repent and offer “a sincere apology” to blacks for being “antagonistic.. to black people or the culture, values and interests of the black community.”

“Many have come to believe that we live in a post-racial society, but racism is very real for our brothers and sisters who are refused jobs and housing, denied basic rights and brutalized and oppressed simply because of the color of their skin,” one lesson explains. “There is an urgent need for Christians to evaluate racist attitudes and practices in light of our faith, and to live faithfully in today’s world.”

In an accompanying Study Guide on Racism, Salvation Army authors explain that all whites are racist, even if they don’t realize it.

“The subtle nature of racism is such that people who are not consciously racist easily function with the privileges, empowerment and benefits of the dominant ethnicity, thus unintentionally perpetuating injustice,” it says.

“Sunday school curriculum that only uses white photography and imagery” is an example given that perpetuates injustice.

“We must stop denying the existence of individual and systemic/ institutional racism. They exist, and are still at work to keep White Americans in power,” the lesson says.

“These systems give privileges to white people””

  10. Because the experimental gene therapy does not induce immunity, its victims are vulnerable to all the mutations. It also appears to prevent developing immunity when they do get infected.

Something else fishy here… all of a sudden this new variant is harming children – what a coincidence, since they now want to jab all the children.

    https://www.theepochtimes.com/mkt_morningbrief/new-ccp-virus-variant-detected-in-south-africa-sparks-travel-bans-by-israel-uk_4124893.html

“A new variant of the CCP (Chinese Communist Party) virus has been detected in South Africa, its health minister, Joe Phaahla, announced Thursday.

Scientists say the new variant is a concern because it has a high number of mutations and spreads rapidly among young people in Gauteng, the country’s most populous province, he said at an online press briefing.

“Over the last four or five days, there has been more of an exponential rise [in new infections],” he said of South Africa’s case numbers of the CCP virus.

A surge in cases, which appeared to be cluster outbreaks from student gatherings in Pretoria and Tshwane, prompted scientists to study the genomic sequencing and subsequently discover the new variant, Phaahla said.

Scientists in South Africa are now working to determine what percentage of the new cases have been caused by the new variant, identified as B.1.1.529.”
