Anyone have something to share?
Psalm 108
A psalm of David.
1 My heart, O God, is steadfast;
I will sing and make music with all my soul.
2 Awake, harp and lyre!
I will awaken the dawn.
3 I will praise you, Lord, among the nations;
I will sing of you among the peoples.
4 For great is your love, higher than the heavens;
your faithfulness reaches to the skies.
5 Be exalted, O God, above the heavens;
let your glory be over all the earth.
6 Save us and help us with your right hand,
that those you love may be delivered.
7 God has spoken from his sanctuary:
“In triumph I will parcel out Shechem
and measure off the Valley of Sukkoth.
8 Gilead is mine, Manasseh is mine;
Ephraim is my helmet,
Judah is my scepter.
9 Moab is my washbasin,
on Edom I toss my sandal;
over Philistia I shout in triumph.”
10 Who will bring me to the fortified city?
Who will lead me to Edom?
11 Is it not you, God, you who have rejected us
and no longer go out with our armies?
12 Give us aid against the enemy,
for human help is worthless.
13 With God we will gain the victory,
and he will trample down our enemies.
Please pray for safety in travels this week and through the weekend for all on the roads and in the air in our nation.

My neighbor “escaped” and came to my house this morning…her husband figured she would come here. Paul stayed with him outside and told him I would bring her home after she felt comfortable. My sweet friend’s dementia is progressing quickly and she has become quite paranoid. I sat and chatted with her, I prepared for her a cup of coffee and put some shortbread on a plate. We spent about an hour and a half chatting, crying, laughing and navigating this new journey. When I took her home (across the road) she looked lost. She was depressed when I left but I did get to chat with her husband…doing life together…this is what our Lord has planned for us
(By the way…I am so thankful I had put the Christmas tree up! She thoroughly enjoyed it along with the piano Christmas music playing in the background! The delight shown upon her face was priceless!) Please keep us in prayer and how to walk this path laid before us…

Praying NancyJill. I remember when you stopped working in the shoppe and wondered what God had for you. We thought it was serving through coffee. You are a fine role model for us. Thank you.

Y’all are warming my heart with thoughts of caring people.
Sometimes in some places caring and kindness seems to be in short supply.

AArrggh. Twenty is coming home. Prayer for husband. He answered an unknown number and she asked him to pick her up because she has a psych appt in the morning. He was caught unawares and consented. He could actually pick her up on the way to the appt. in the morning. But it is done.
She will learn that we have taken back her old room and the dining room she had trashed. New rules for her I suppose. Not that she will listen.
So, prayer for us. Dealing with her anger when she sees the changes, and our disappointment that she is back before her thirty days. Hopefully, she will go back tomorrow. Isn’t this an awful way to be talking about daughter?

Mumsee – In my own small way, I understand. That is how I feel when I say that I don’t think – short of a miracle of God – that my Chickadee will ever be able to hold a job or live on her own. I feel awful as her mother thinking that, let alone saying it. But that’s the way it seems, at least at this time.

Although you and I have an opposite situation. You want your daughter to stay with someone else, and I want my daughter to come home. 🙂

Acrually, we would love to have our daughter stay with us. She could talk to the animals, ride her bike, go shopping, etc. Just stop throwing things and words at me and breaking things.

Wow, you are good! Daughter called and canceled because she found out she has work tomorrow. Whew!

Mumsee – I understand that it is only because of those behaviors. I know that you would want her to be with you otherwise. I’m sorry if my words seem to say something different.
