Anyone have something to share?
Psalm 103
Of David.
1 Praise the Lord, my soul;
all my inmost being, praise his holy name.
2 Praise the Lord, my soul,
and forget not all his benefits—
3 who forgives all your sins
and heals all your diseases,
4 who redeems your life from the pit
and crowns you with love and compassion,
5 who satisfies your desires with good things
so that your youth is renewed like the eagle’s.
6 The Lord works righteousness
and justice for all the oppressed.
7 He made known his ways to Moses,
his deeds to the people of Israel:
8 The Lord is compassionate and gracious,
slow to anger, abounding in love.
9 He will not always accuse,
nor will he harbor his anger forever;
10 he does not treat us as our sins deserve
or repay us according to our iniquities.
11 For as high as the heavens are above the earth,
so great is his love for those who fear him;
12 as far as the east is from the west,
so far has he removed our transgressions from us.
13 As a father has compassion on his children,
so the Lord has compassion on those who fear him;
14 for he knows how we are formed,
he remembers that we are dust.
15 The life of mortals is like grass,
they flourish like a flower of the field;
16 the wind blows over it and it is gone,
and its place remembers it no more.
17 But from everlasting to everlasting
the Lord’s love is with those who fear him,
and his righteousness with their children’s children—
18 with those who keep his covenant
and remember to obey his precepts.
19 The Lord has established his throne in heaven,
and his kingdom rules over all.
20 Praise the Lord, you his angels,
you mighty ones who do his bidding,
who obey his word.
21 Praise the Lord, all his heavenly hosts,
you his servants who do his will.
22 Praise the Lord, all his works
everywhere in his dominion.
Praise the Lord, my soul.
Prayer for husband. He has been feeling angry. Not with me or children but with whatever. Kind of like ‘roid rage, and they did have him on steroids for that respiratory infection but that was a while ago. Anyway, prayer for husband, who has entirely too much to do.

Oh, Mumsee, so sorry he and you are dealing with that. Praying for you both🙏
May God lighten the load; Jesus, take his burdens and give him rest; and may you, Mumsee, feel the joy of the Lord and the peace of His presence this week. In Jesus’ name, Amen

Yes. Amen for the success of the transplant surgery, and for comfort (and salvation) for the family who has lost a loved one.

As for me, I have been slipping into a depression over the Chickadee situation, and last night made it worse. I happened to see a photo that someone shared to YA’s Facebook page of YA, her sister, and Chickadee at an event this past summer. Couldn’t help realizing – and wondering why – she could do that but “can’t” come over for visits. And I pretty much gave up hope for seeing her on our Thanksgiving on Friday, and maybe not even for Christmas. (But still trying to have faith that God could change her heart.)
My heart is aching so bad over this. I was downright sobbing last night, and this morning. She was/is my “baby”, and we were so close when she lived at home, and even when she lived with them but was still over here helping me babysit a few days a week.
I truly believe that it is the influence of the McK sisters that has caused her to pull back from us. Yes, her sister, Nightingale, can be terse (not the exact word I mean, but I can’t think of the right one right now), but she can also be sweet and fun. I can’t help wondering if YA and CBF have convinced Chickadee that Nightingale is “toxic” or some such thing, and thus she should stay away from us. Maybe not, but it could be.

I’m so sorry, Kizzie. She probably has no idea what pain this is causing. Would this be the first major holiday she hasn’t attended? I tend to agree with you that she’s been influenced in this direction by “the sisters.” What heartbreak they’re causing.
Continuing the pray for this difficult situation.

So sorry, Kizzie. It pains me, too, for your sake.
I have been out walking on the driveway, 45 minutes as the light tuned to dark today, and I was lifting that prayer again to God while out there along with other needs mentioned here.

Thank you all for your prayers.
Yes, this is the first major holiday she has missed. Before this, she missed some relatively minor “holidays” – Valentine’s Day (we would usually have a little get together around that time), Mothers Day, and her and her sister’s and her nephew’s birthdays.
The last time we were together was January 15 (two days past my birthday) to celebrate my turning 60. We all had such a great time that day! It was just about a perfect day. That seems to make what has happened since then all the more difficult and perplexing.

How is Jeremy?

Jeremy is good! His surgery took 7 hrs. He is in the medical ICU. Amy reports that his urine has gone from a coke color to an arnold palmer tea color. Great improvement. In quite a bit of pain. Thank you so much for the continued prayers for my family.
