Anyone have something to share?
Psalm 20
A psalm of David.
1 May the Lord answer you when you are in distress;
may the name of the God of Jacob protect you.
2 May he send you help from the sanctuary
and grant you support from Zion.
3 May he remember all your sacrifices
and accept your burnt offerings.
4 May he give you the desire of your heart
and make all your plans succeed.
5 May we shout for joy over your victory
and lift up our banners in the name of our God.
May the Lord grant all your requests.
6 Now this I know:
The Lord gives victory to his anointed.
He answers him from his heavenly sanctuary
with the victorious power of his right hand.
7 Some trust in chariots and some in horses,
but we trust in the name of the Lord our God.
8 They are brought to their knees and fall,
but we rise up and stand firm.
9 Lord, give victory to the king!
Answer us when we call!
As it turned out, our friends in Ledyard never lost power. They won’t be able to fly home until Wednesday (out of Providence), but with 4 able-bodied and resourceful adults still there, they’re getting a lot done.
Prayer concern: no news from the oldest son, who lives on a boat near Westerly, RI—which was landfall.
I’m at the Rochester airport, ready to fly home.

Roy, btw, was the lead eulogist and spoke passionately about his mother’s love for Jesus.

Oh, Mumsee, I know what you are going through. May you feel peace over your decision much quicker than I did. God is sovereign no matter which way you decide.

First day of teaching at new school for son and many others. Please pray for good experiences for students and teachers today. Thank you. This includes prayer for all new to homeschooling, too. It is really scary for those moms who often wonder what have they gotten themselves into after jumping off the public school bus.

The way I looked at the vaccine was, I’ve already had Covid. I am of an age that if it causes ill effects I have a good life so far. It was also done to please my husband.

And, as with vaccines, natural immunity could be expected to wane both with time and as the virus mutates and variants appear.

I have thought of that as well. If I did have it before, my natural immunity should be wearing off (especially if I got it in Boise that year) in the next few months.

YA has not replied at all to my questions. I am praying that, even if she has no intention of replying, that the Holy Spirit will keep those questions bubbling around in her mind and heart, causing her to think deeply and honestly about what she believes. And of course, that she will come to a breakthrough of real faith.
