Anyone have something to share?
Psalm 131
A song of ascents. Of David.
1 My heart is not proud, Lord,
my eyes are not haughty;
I do not concern myself with great matters
or things too wonderful for me.
2 But I have calmed and quieted myself,
I am like a weaned child with its mother;
like a weaned child I am content.
3 Israel, put your hope in the Lord
both now and forevermore.
Lovely psalm.

Please pray for me as I prepare to go back to in person church tomorrow. It will be the first day that masks are optional for those who are vaccinated. The mask is mandatory for me. I will probably be among the few with a mask on. I expect to feel uncomfortable tomorrow and that does not feel right for being in God’s house.

Janice, we have people still wearing masks as well, I don’t think anyone thinks anything about it. Some people have more risk factors and just need to still be more careful.
And masks are a beyond-common sight for everyone now, it really doesn’t get much notice, in my opinion.

I wore a mask into an establishment for the first time ever this past Thursday. When I took son in to speech therapy and explained that nineteen had refused to attend. A branch of the local hospital, masks required. I did not think about it at all until son pulled out his mask and told me they were required.

Art came home from work nauseous and feeling as he had felt after taking his 2nd Covid shot. That means I am choosing to stay home tomorrow in case we brought illness back with us from our trip. I have a church meeting to attend Monday night that I will need to go to though so I need prayer to be well for that.

Praying for you and Art, Janice.
The meetings with my siblings (and one of those included our parents, too) went very well this week. Thank you for praying. Also, East Coast relatives leave for home early tomorrow morning. The return trip will be over the course of three days instead of two like on the way here, since they are going to spend a day at the Ark Encounter on the way back. Thanks for your prayers for their safe return journey, too.

Two very serious health concerns found out about this evening, extended family, people who matter to me. One is Chas’s age but one a quarter century younger.
