  1. Good.

“Ashli Babbitt’s family plans to sue Capitol Police, officer who shot her”

“Capitol rioter Ashli Babbitt’s family plans to sue the US Capitol Police and the yet-to-be-named officer who fatally shot her during the riot on Jan. 6, according to an attorney representing the family.

Babbitt, draped in then-President Donald Trump’s campaign flag, was shot as she tried to climb through a smashed-out window into the House of Representatives Speaker’s Lobby.

The 35-year-old Californian was a veteran of the wars in Afghanistan and Iraq. She traveled to DC to participate in a large pro-Trump demonstration branded “Stop the Steal” on the day Joe Biden was to be officially certified as president-elect based on electoral votes.

The officer who killed Babbitt has never been publicly identified and was not charged with a crime after a Justice Department review, but attorney Terry Roberts told Zenger News he knows their name, Newsweek reported.

“What it looks like is this guy shot this lady for no legitimate law enforcement purpose. And you know, they ought to be pretty ashamed of that,” Roberts said.

“In a free country like ours, it’s very strange and odd that they wouldn’t identify the officer, or even provide some details, explaining why he had to kill her. You would probably expect this kind of thing to happen in Russia,” he said.

“If she committed any crime by going through the window and into the Speaker’s Lobby, it would have been trespassing. Some misdemeanor crime. All a rookie cop would have done is arrest her,” Roberts said.

“And he has plenty of other officers there to assist with arrest.””

    But the coward shot her.

And we now know who the coward is. It turns out he and his gun have been in the news before. Not only is he a coward, but a forgetful one.

“A U.S. Capitol Police lieutenant left his service weapon in a bathroom Monday night and the unattended gun was discovered later by another Capitol Police officer.

After the House adjourned on Monday, Lt. Mike Byrd left his Glock 22 in a bathroom in the Capitol Visitor Center complex, according to sources familiar with the incident. Byrd is the commander of the House Chambers section of the Capitol Police and was on the job Tuesday and Wednesday.

Byrd addressed the incident at Tuesday morning’s officer roll call and, according to sources, told fellow officers that he “will be treated differently” because of his rank as a lieutenant. It was not clear what exactly the lieutenant meant by the comment.

Unlike a gun with a traditional safety, a Glock will fire if the trigger is pulled — making the discovery of an unattended gun in the Capitol complex particularly concerning.

Capitol Police said a service weapon was discovered “during a routine security sweep” Monday. Once the weapon was secured, the department began an immediate investigation into the matter, according to Capitol Police spokeswoman Eva Malecki.

“The Department takes these matters very seriously, and has a very thorough process to investigate and review incidents such as these, and holds personnel accountable for their actions,” Malecki said in a statement. “Following the investigation’s conclusion, appropriate actions will be taken in accordance with the Department’s official policies and procedures.””

  2. Well Mayor Ted, you did help build this, so enjoy.

“In Chilling Video, Antifa Doxes, Threatens to KILL Portland Mayor Ted Wheeler”

“Late last week Portland, Ore., Mayor Ted Wheeler took to video to plea for the community’s help to “unmask” antifa. The violence-prone anarchist-fascist group has terrorized Portland with months of violent and destructive insurrectionist riots despite Joe Biden merely calling antifa an “idea.””

“Someone purporting to represent antifa has responded to Wheeler with a new video. In this video, the masked individual pushes anti-American themes and publishes Wheeler’s home address. The individual finishes the disturbing presentation with a veiled threat to kill Mayor Wheeler.”

“Ted, we are asking for the last time that you resign,” the video’s narrator says. “If you ignore this message outright, the destruction to your precious way of life is going to escalate. Blood is already on your hands, Ted. The next time, it may just be your own.””

Enjoy your monster Dr. Frankenstein. 🙂

  3. “The media’s horrid hundred days under Biden

Trump called the press the enemy of the people. They didn’t have to prove him right”

“President Joe Biden’s first 100 days have been devastating for the media. America’s trust in the press plummeted to new lows during the Trump administration, yet for the most part people kept watching. Consumers subscribed and clicked and watched the never-ceasing news cycles. For news networks, it was the best of times even if they were telling America it was the worst of times.

Stormy Daniels, Russian collusion, Impeachment Part I, two scoops of ice cream, Russia bounties, Impeachment Part II: news consumption was sky-high. But when Trump moved back to Mar-a-Lago, he took his ratings with him.

How does that Fleetwood Mac song go? ‘Well, I’ve been afraid of changing, ‘Cause I’ve built my life around you.’ The mainstream media built their entire industry around despising Donald Trump. When covering Orange Man Bad’s administration, White House correspondents transformed from formerly serious journalists into unhinged hecklers. But it is their latest transformation back to docile cheerleaders that is even more revealing.

The media’s awkward transition hasn’t gone unnoticed. CNN’s viewership has taken a nosedive. Axios reported that ‘politics consumption dropped most dramatically, tumbling 28 percent’. Watching Biden’s fan club fawn over his love of chocolate chip ice cream and aviators is not captivating: it is cringeworthy.

At the President’s first and only presser, PBS’s Yamiche Alcindor suggested that the reason for the surge at the border is because migrants see Biden as a ‘moral, decent man’. She had 64 days to come up with that hard-hitting compliment. But Yamiche isn’t the only Democratic operative who is downplaying the immigration crisis.

This is a team effort after all! Politico actually sent out a memo to its staffers about the border specifically instructing them to ‘avoid referring to the present situation as a crisis, although we may quote others using that language while providing context’. It is stunning to think that these are the same truth-seekers and democracy defenders who just a few years ago were melting down on social media about kids in cages.

The media’s flagrant hypocrisy when covering everything from Joe’s wind-induced stair spills to his radical (and green!) policies is breathtaking. Trump called the press the enemy of the people. They didn’t have to prove him right.

However, there is a silver lining to the decline of giants like the Washington Post and the New York Times. These famed institutions, unwilling to print anything but Biden agitprop, have left a real opening in the market for actual journalism. Enter Substack. The online platform describes itself as ‘a place for independent writing. We make it simple for a writer to start a paid newsletter’.”

  4. Womp, womp, womp….

    So what do Dems do?

    Fudge the numbers!

  5. Guilty or innocent, he was never gonna be allowed freedom. The fix was in either way.

“Report: Feds Planned To Arrest Derek Chauvin At State Courthouse If Found Not Guilty

“If Chauvin were found not guilty on all counts or the case ended in a mistrial, they would arrest him at the courthouse””

“There were threats of massive riots and looting if Derek Chauvin were found not guilty of all charges during his state court trial. Maxine Waters threatened more “confrontation” and municipalities around the country had police and National Guard reinforcements at the ready.

The federal Department of Justice had it’s own plans to help lessen potential riots. That plan was to arrest Chauvin on federal charges immediately after a ‘not guilty’ verdict.”

  6. People watch cable news and political events when they are scared, uncertain and nervous. People use information to reassure themselves. When cable news ratings plummet its a good sign — people feel calm and content.
