Prayer Requests 3-1-21

Anyone have something to share?

Psalm 23

A psalm of David.

¹The Lord is my shepherd, I lack nothing.
² He makes me lie down in green pastures,
he leads me beside quiet waters,
³ he refreshes my soul.
He guides me along the right paths
    for his name’s sake.
⁴Even though I walk
    through the darkest valley,
I will fear no evil,
    for you are with me;
your rod and your staff,
    they comfort me.

⁵You prepare a table before me
    in the presence of my enemies.
You anoint my head with oil;
    my cup overflows.
⁶Surely your goodness and love will follow me
    all the days of my life,
and I will dwell in the house of the Lord
    forever.

So many things to pray about. And yet we can be thankful that God is on His throne and all will be made right.

Pray for a quick end to this pandemic — if that is God’s will, of course.

Pray for patience in the meantime, and an understanding that it is all within God’s will, either way.

Pray for the nation — but again, also, that this, too, is carrying on all within God’s will for a purpose only He knows. Maybe that might cause us to do what we can, speak out respectfully (as we are first and foremost ambassadors of Christ); and also to maybe complain and gripe a bit less, knowing He is working something out (whether we like that “something” in the end or not).
