People who think their colds are only an inconvenience to themselves not realizing how it impacts families with compromised health. One such person, who was raised to keep her germs to her room when sick is now seeing a bit of the suffering of her daughter and the others. Of course, she is gone a lot of the time.
But the sick girls are doing much better. Now for the sick boys.
π My younger relative has come through COVID fine.
π¦ My old uncle is struggling at home alone.
π¦ Too many sad events today and hard prayer requests.
π¦ I’m struggling.
π But I know the Lord who holds each one in His very capable hands.
π I’m thankful that while we’re disappointed in all the blank walls and closed doors in my daughter’s life this last year, 2021 is a new one and He can inspire and open opportunities far better than I can ever guess.
π My prayer is for an increased faith for me and for my daughter, that our God will meet those needs.
π« Voter fraud at any level and in any quantity that goes unprosecuted and unacknowledged
π« Those who play the system loopholes whether in voting or paying taxes
π« All the tragedies of late that are horrific
π God hears prayers of intercession and lifts people out of despair in His timing and in His ways
π My lady friends at church who have made the isolation of the Covid pandrmic bearable
π Mucinex helps a stuffy nose
π New recipes that work and are worth including in the reoccurring home meal menu
π Zoom with Wesley
π Friends on this blog who love each other despite differences of opinion and feelings about politics
π The Georgia Senate election is Tuesday
π We have already voted
ππ« I got SEVEN large postcards today and a knock at the door today with literature left about Tuesday’s vote (so much wasted money for advertising here)

Cats kill birds??? Learn something new on this blog all the time. That explains the feathers on the front door mat periodically, intermixed with mouse, vole, shrew, weasel, and snake.
Speaking of funny bird comments. Twenty four has a habit of cooking something and leaving it in the cooking container. The other day it was hard boiled eggs. I decided to put them on her changing table in her room. She got home from work and came out of her room with the comment, “the chickens have been in my room! I found these on the changing table!”
Uh, no daughter, those would be your hard boiled eggs.
Oh.
(You can’t make this stuff up. My life is really this odd)
Michelle – That reminds me of something I heard or read several years ago: If your dog were as big as an elephant, he would still want to be on your lap. If your cat were as big as an elephant, you would be terrified!
Just realized that with all of this travel, I land in Port Moresby on the 20th, which would be the 21st here so will miss all of the inauguration stuff. That is a praise.

Annie plays with nature, she doesn’t intentionally kill. Eventually, they get tired of playing and die, however.

Nature is not a spectator sport for my cat. If it’s in the yard, she kills it. Period.
