Anyone have something to share?
Psalm 125
A song of ascents.
1 Those who trust in the Lord are like Mount Zion,
which cannot be shaken but endures forever.
2 As the mountains surround Jerusalem,
so the Lord surrounds his people
both now and forevermore.
3 The scepter of the wicked will not remain
over the land allotted to the righteous,
for then the righteous might use
their hands to do evil.
4 Lord, do good to those who are good,
to those who are upright in heart.
5 But those who turn to crooked ways
the Lord will banish with the evildoers.
Peace be on Israel.
Prayer for health and stamina as this cold rolls through.
Prayer for wisdom for doctors and parents as they decide when and if to do surgery on little guy to deal with the growing cyst in the back of his brain.

Please keep praying for my SIL’s family–both to draw them near to the Lord, comfort for the loved ones of the two who died and healing for the two injured. Also pray for all those at the school who will be seeing counselors or talking to pastors or just plain thinking about their own mortality. These incidents are always such a shocking wake up call for the young who feel so invincible.

Kathaleena, such a hard loss and one that affects so many people. I even think about the family members of the man who killed them–how hard it would be to know your son or nephew had been guilty of such evil (parents and others might well be drug addicts and such, but someone in his life has to be shocked and grieved).

Hugging our daughter hard and praying over her as she started the 7 hour drive home this morning, made me feel like all those women who have sent the people they love off to war.
She enters the LA hell hole of a medical system–though she should be vaccinated on Monday morning.
That takes me to her, Roscuro, Nightingale, RKessler, Mumsee’s children, and all the others we love on the front lines battling and using their hearts, skills, and abilities to mitigate the damage caused by COVID.
Let’s pray for all of them and the medical staff we know this weekend, along with those suffering, and all the families who have lost people this Christmas season.

My sister’s niece, along with the niece’s husband and their two youngest children (2 and 6?) were killed in a helicopter crash last evening. They leave behind 3 young teens (17, 15, 13?). They are from a huge, super close family. My sister’s heart is breaking, I just can’t imagine.

At His knees in lamentation. May you be given peace and words of comfort to give to those children and other relatives. May you be bathed in His sweet love.

Heavenly Father, Again I lift prayers over a devastating loss, this time related to Kare’s loved ones. So many broken-hearted family members are in such great anguish now. Only You know the depth of it. It is beyond our ability to imagine and process it even being far removed by distance and lack of family ties. Only You can make a way through the grief and suffering. I ask that all the arrangements that must be made can be done quickly with the least amount of involvement from the young people in the family unless it is seen to be helpful in some way to their healing. You know best in such matters, Abba. You know all about the hearts involved. Please, may the processing of grief go through each stage without any hangups that keep the young ones stuck in depression. I pray for a great response of support from loved ones and even caring strangers to show the goodness of community. Please be the strength for those who are fragile regarding this event. Please help Kare and Tim especially at this time when emotions are at a high from new life in the family and a low from this tragedy. May Your all encompassing love see them through. I pray in Jesus’ name, Amen

Prayer for health of son and wisdom on when or if to take him to the ER. Called but they said to keep him home and keep up the nebulizer treatments and inhaler, but bring him in if his oxygen continues to drop.

News on Franz–he was able to Zoom in and make a speech as best man for his brother’s wedding yesterday. He’s also been accepted to the Denver Institute to help him “train” for life with his many, many disabilities.
He still has an infectious smile for FB, but an incredibly long road ahead of him.

My church friend who has a broken arm is to have shoulder replacement surgery tomorrow. Her husband is recovering from Covid. Please pray for a good surgery with no complications and that she does not get Covid. Thank you.

Michelle – I can’t remember – Is Franz a believer? I know that you have mentioned that his mother is Catholic.

Catholic. I’d say it is unusual for a 21-year-old to ask to pray the rosary if he wasn’t devout.

Janice, thanks for asking. Son is doing much better. The pain in chest and back are gone and his oxygen level is up. Actually, his oxygen is much higher than mine! Little twin seems much better, have not seen much of the other little girl as her mommy is home today and they are hanging out in their room. Little guy seems to be doing well, no real symptoms like the others had. Nineteen now has it and is staying in her room. I am still running on the edges of it trying not to teeter in.

Oh.Kare. I am at a loss for words. Such a tragedy.
Tomorrow starts a long run through January. Teaching 3 days a week along with other duties which is more like running an insane asylum 😂😂😂
I need energy, mental strength, and patience.
