It’s Wednesday, so don’t forget Ajissun and the folks in The Gambia.
Anyone else?
Psalm 24
Of David. A psalm.
1 The earth is the Lord’s, and everything in it,
the world, and all who live in it;
2 for he founded it on the seas
and established it on the waters.
3 Who may ascend the mountain of the Lord?
Who may stand in his holy place?
4 The one who has clean hands and a pure heart,
who does not trust in an idol
or swear by a false god.
5 They will receive blessing from the Lord
and vindication from God their Savior.
6 Such is the generation of those who seek him,
who seek your face, God of Jacob.
7 Lift up your heads, you gates;
be lifted up, you ancient doors,
that the King of glory may come in.
8 Who is this King of glory?
The Lord strong and mighty,
the Lord mighty in battle.
9 Lift up your heads, you gates;
lift them up, you ancient doors,
that the King of glory may come in.
10 Who is he, this King of glory?
The Lord Almighty—
he is the King of glory.
When I try to say the posted Psalm, if it is familiar, I always revert to the real version I know. My mind will not let me say, “…and everything in it, The world, and all who live in it.”
But I didn’t come here to complain.
Rather to thank all of you for your concern and prayers.
I can still drive. This has been going on for months (about five, now) between the NCHD and me, mostly LindaS. They partly succeeded, in that I’m not supposed to drive over 45 mph, nor more than five miles from home.
But hat no longer matters to me. I haven’t driven more than five miles at a time in four years now.
But everything is back to whatever is normal now.
Part of the problems I have now is the same you have wrt getting out and about.

I recieved an update from another team member regarding The Gambia. Hospitals are full. In the past four weeks, cases of COVID-19 have skyrocketed. It is a tiny country both size and population wise, so these numbers are significant: https://www.worldometers.info/coronavirus/country/gambia/. Thankfully, so far, the clinic has not seen any cases.

So thankful for your good news, Chas. You know I can relate so well since I lost my driving privileges for a long while last year. Now I probably don’t drive much farther than five miles to anywhere I go. Within five miles of where I live, I doubt that I could even visit all the array of businesses and establishments within it for the rest of my life. We have such variety here with cuisines from everywhere. The world is here in this vicinity as far as people go. But of course, the natural scenic world of all the nations is not here but can be seen online. If people must be isolated for a Pandemic, we have the best setup for it. IMO, PTL
