Anyone have something to share?
Psalm 16
1 Keep me safe, my God,
for in you I take refuge.
2 I say to the Lord, “You are my Lord;
apart from you I have no good thing.”
3 I say of the holy people who are in the land,
“They are the noble ones in whom is all my delight.”
4 Those who run after other gods will suffer more and more.
I will not pour out libations of blood to such gods
or take up their names on my lips.
5 Lord, you alone are my portion and my cup;
you make my lot secure.
6 The boundary lines have fallen for me in pleasant places;
surely I have a delightful inheritance.
7 I will praise the Lord, who counsels me;
even at night my heart instructs me.
8 I keep my eyes always on the Lord.
With him at my right hand, I will not be shaken.
9 Therefore my heart is glad and my tongue rejoices;
my body also will rest secure,
10 because you will not abandon me to the realm of the dead,
nor will you let your faithful one see decay.
11 You make known to me the path of life;
you will fill me with joy in your presence,
with eternal pleasures at your right hand.
One of my co-workers was in my office yesterday. She told me she has something major coming up in October with her daughter. It is something VERY serious. Please pray for her.

A former coworker of Nightingale’s has gone missing. He was recently divorced, and was moving to Florida. Seems he never arrived in Florida, and his friend down there reported him missing. (He is a middle-aged man, not a young man.)

We found out yesterday that a two-doors-down neighbor from our last residence lost a special-needs son in a drowning accident yesterday. Our girls went to school with their older daughters, and our daughter let us know. I didn’t know the family at all well, but they were neighbors for 20 years with my family, and this is a grievous loss. They are professing believers.

Oh Cheryl how sad. I will ask our Lord to bring comfort to them as they grieve the loss of their child 😢

A non-family member who is close to us is battling infertility.
It’s her, not him, and today they visit the doctor to learn their options.
Wisdom for all involved. Thanks.

Infertility is devastating. It seems everyone around you is having babies. First they are clueless then their sympathy becomes another burden.
I once joked that I was failing at what two teenagers is the back of a car could accomplish. My aunt by marriage quickly asked if I had tried getting in the backseat of a car.
All that to say, I am praying for them.

Thank you. We can be so heartless without intending to, can’t we?
I make it a point not to ask.
