Anyone have something to share?
Psalm 119:145-160
ק Qoph
145 I call with all my heart; answer me, Lord,
and I will obey your decrees.
146 I call out to you; save me
and I will keep your statutes.
147 I rise before dawn and cry for help;
I have put my hope in your word.
148 My eyes stay open through the watches of the night,
that I may meditate on your promises.
149 Hear my voice in accordance with your love;
preserve my life, Lord, according to your laws.
150 Those who devise wicked schemes are near,
but they are far from your law.
151 Yet you are near, Lord,
and all your commands are true.
152 Long ago I learned from your statutes
that you established them to last forever.
ר Resh
153 Look on my suffering and deliver me,
for I have not forgotten your law.
154 Defend my cause and redeem me;
preserve my life according to your promise.
155 Salvation is far from the wicked,
for they do not seek out your decrees.
156 Your compassion, Lord, is great;
preserve my life according to your laws.
157 Many are the foes who persecute me,
but I have not turned from your statutes.
158 I look on the faithless with loathing,
for they do not obey your word.
159 See how I love your precepts;
preserve my life, Lord, in accordance with your love.
160 All your words are true;
all your righteous laws are eternal.
My husband and I are both experiencing huge amounts of stress from outside sources. We both ended up yelling this morning — not at each other — about those problems, and when he stormed out the door, slamming it behind him because of the stress from those other sources, I just burst into tears. It’s too much for 8:00 in the morning.
Pray our day gets better as it goes on, and for resolution of those outside problems, and patience in the interim. Thank you.

Monica’s father told me she is on the first step to heaven. He is okay with that. She can no longer do anything, which is a huge challenge for someone who has pushed through so many physical limitations. One son flew in to spend these last days with his mom. Please pray for peace for all.

I’m sorry, Kathaleena; tell me again who Monica is? A relative? Daughter of your husband’s band-mate? Prayers regardless.
The day is going better now; thank you for the prayers. One of the problems appears headed toward resolution this week.
I got a Christmas letter in the mail today that brought additional perspective and comfort. It was from my dearly-departed high school piano teacher’s widower and his second wife. His message this year, in addition to the usual sprinkling of family news with children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren, was this:
“Many years ago I purchased a ten inch LP of choral music which included a J. S. Bach arrangement of the chorale O Rejoice, Ye Christians, Loudly. (Evangelical Lutheran Hymnary # 163) Following is stanza 1 with refrain:
“I really liked the way the chorus sang it with no breath breaks except between the stanza and the refrain. It was a neat choral device. Later on I thought that the device effectively lent a feeling of urgency to the message of the text. As I write this we have just passed the End Times portion of the Church Year, and we enter Advent next Sunday. May our rejoicing this Christmas Season be centered on Jesus, and may we be open to opportunities to share that joy with others!”
…
D ended the letter by saying, “Have a Joyous Christmas and away with all sorrow and repining for the Sun of grace is shining!”
Amen. What a blessing that God arranged for that letter to arrive today (much later in December than we usually receive their Christmas letter each year). God’s timing is impeccable; perfect.

I need a miracle. Less than two weeks to January, and there are no leads on places to live in the city. I am pursuing every avenue at this point.
