It’s apparent to me the White House press corps lives in a bubble and the way they are conducting themselves today will do NOTHING to improve their standing with the American people.
The mainstream press are not — in my opinion – ‘Enemies of the People’ but rather ‘Allies of the Democratic Party’ playing an activist role in support of their agenda.
President Trump believes in a free press and expects and welcomes tough questions of him and his Administration. We will, however, never tolerate a reporter placing his hands on a young woman just trying to do her job as a White House intern…
Contrary to CNN’s assertions there is no greater demonstration of the President’s support for a free press than the event he held today. Only they would attack the President for not supporting a free press in the midst of him taking 68 questions from 35 different reporters…
…over the course of 1.5 hours including several from the reporter in question. The fact that CNN is proud of the way their employee behaved is not only disgusting, it‘s an example of their outrageous disregard for everyone, including young women, who work in this Administration
That was me LOL. It’s what truly unites Democrat-NeverTrump coalition. Although they also are now sharing many political views, of course. https://t.co/9bBZi9YEvU
And Max Boot gets reminded he’s a hack who sided with the Democrats. He’s sooooo principled.
Own it Max.
Many Republicans who lost were relative moderates. The House GOP caucus, indeed the entire GOP, will be Trumpier than ever. This completes the GOP’s transformation from a Reagan-Ryan conservative party into a white-nationalist party in Trump's image. Me: https://t.co/GeUwlValhZ
Boot got what he wanted in those races, but now pretends to be outraged by the inevitable consequences of it. You told people to vote out Mia Love! You told people to vote out Barbara Comstock!
Folks like you ensured the loss of candidates like @carloslcurbelo & @MiaBLove, the most diverse and principled voices in the GOP.
You didn’t put country over party, you put your CNN appearances over doing what’s right by urging the defeat of good candidates. https://t.co/Ux31NUZDvo
Re: Aj’s 7:36, et. al.

Trump did the right thing. This guy was using his press credentials to harass the President. There was no stooping him.
Enough’s enough.
When you are 25, you are hit and thrown five feet and land on your rear. You get up and go again.
When you are 85, you have someone take you to the hospital.
I would like to Ginsburg go out. But not this way.
Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg was admitted to the hospital on Thursday morning after falling and fracturing three ribs, the Supreme Court announced.
The court’s public information office said that Ginsburg, 85, fell in her office at the Supreme Court on Wednesday night and subsequently returned to her home. But she began to feel discomfort overnight and went to George Washington University Hospital in Washington, D.C., on Thursday morning.
Not that I wish her ill will, but she will have a hard time coming back from this at her age.
Can you imagine how Dems feel, the possibility of Trump appointing yet another judge, and since R’s still control the Senate, there’s not a thing they could do about it?
“A former Marine — armed with a Glock .45-caliber handgun with an illegal extended magazine — opened fire on a packed California country music bar Wednesday night, killing 12 people, including a veteran sheriff’s sergeant nearing retirement, officials said.
Ian David Long eventually turned the gun on himself, but not before the 28-year-old, dressed in all black, terrorized a crowd filled with college students at Borderline Bar & Grill in Thousand Oaks, Calif.
Sheriff Geoff Dean, who is set to retire on Friday, said Long may have suffered from Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder and was known to law enforcement officials due to several unspecified contacts stretching back multiple years.
Dean said the last interaction between Long and authorities occurred in April, when police officers were called to Long’s house after reports of a disturbance. When they arrived, officers found Long “irate and acting irrationally,” leading to a crisis intervention team being summoned. Officials on the scene at the time, however, said they didn’t feel Long was qualified to be taken into custody.”
Apparently some students were at the scene venue during what was a weekly country music college night
In light of the tragic events that occurred last night in Thousand Oaks, classes have been canceled today. University offices remain open. Visit our emergency page for more resources and updates at https://t.co/lXis049Ii9
“The Trump administration will exempt employers from providing insurance coverage for birth control if it conflicts with their religious or moral beliefs, scaling back a rule created under the Obama administration.
The rule, released Wednesday, will take effect in 60 days and will affect between 6,400 and 127,000 women, according to the Trump administration. The religious exemption applies to any type of employer, but the moral exemption doesn’t apply to publicly traded businesses or government entities.
The rules received praise from Susan B. Anthony’s List, an anti-abortion group that holds a moral objection to certain types of birth control. The group’s president, Marjorie Dannenfelser, in a statement slammed the original rules created under the Obama administration as “repeated violations of conscience” that were “deeply contrary to the core of our nation.”
“The top Democrat on the House Judiciary Committee was overheard Wednesday discussing Democrats’ plans to investigate and try to impeach Supreme Court Justice Brett Kavanaugh.
New York Democratic Rep. Jerrold Nadler took a series of phone calls while riding the Acela train from New York to Washington, D.C., not knowing that the The Federalist’s Mollie Hemingway was also on the train and within earshot.
Nadler is set to take over as judiciary chairman as a result of Democrats flipping the House in Tuesday’s midterm elections.
Nadler claimed in one call that “there’s a real indication that Kavanaugh committed perjury,” claiming the justice misled about when he first heard about the second of several unproven allegations against him.
Nadler claimed Kavanaugh was “asked at a committee hearing under oath when he first heard of the subject, he said, ‘When I’d heard of The Atlantic article.’ But there is an email chain apparently dating from well before that from him about ‘How can we deal with this?’”
Nadler appeared to confuse The Atlantic with The New Yorker, which first reported the second allegation.
The congressman’s claim echoed a misleading NBC News article that left out crucial context about Kavanaugh’s answer — one of several Kavanaugh stories that NBC got wrong.
“That’s not technical, that’s real,” Nadler reportedly said, when his interlocutor objected to his plan.
“The worst-case scenario — or best case depending on your point of view — you prove he committed perjury, about a terrible subject and the Judicial Conference recommends you impeach him. So the president appoints someone just as bad,” Nadler added.
Nadler rejected the caller’s suggestion that Democrats investigate Kavanaugh quietly.
“You can’t do it quietly because word will get out that the FBI or the committee is reaching out to witnesses,” he said.”
“President Donald Trump and the first lady visited the Supreme Court Thursday for the investiture of Justice Brett Kavanaugh.
Kavanaugh, who was confirmed on Oct. 8, has been participating in the work of the court for almost a month. By tradition, a ceremonial courtroom installation with various dignitaries follows the confirmation of a new justice.
Thursday’s proceedings featured a roster of Republican legal luminaries, including former Attorneys General John Ashcroft, Alberto Gonzales and Michael Mukasey; Ken Starr, the federal judge turned independent counsel and scourge of the Clinton administration; Maureen Scalia, wife of the late Justice Antonin Scalia; former White House counsels Don McGahn and Harriet Miers; Federalist Society President Eugene Meyer and Leonard Leo, a Federalist Society vice president who informally advises GOP administrations on judicial confirmations.”
“Poland’s main gas company signed a long-term contract Thursday to receive deliveries of liquefied natural gas from the United States as part of a larger effort to reduce its energy dependence on Russia.
The state company PGNiG signed the 24-year deal with American supplier Cheniere during a ceremony in Warsaw attended by U.S. Energy Secretary Rick Perry and Polish President Andrzej Duda.
“This is a sign across Europe that this is how your energy security will be developed, your energy sources diversified,” Perry said before the deal was signed.
He and Polish Energy Minister Krzysztof Tchorzewski also signed an agreement to confirm long-term cooperation on energy security, which Perry said indicated America’s “pro-Poland and pro-Europe” approach to developing diverse sources of energy.
“We are prepared to be a competitive, reliable and transparent” partner, he said.
Perry is visiting several countries in central and eastern Europe to expand energy partnerships in the region, the U.S. Department of Energy said.”
So, @cnn falsely claimed, without evidence, that the video had been "doctored" when in fact what it had been was simply converted in the most common way. Fitting that @cnn would get this wrong. https://t.co/R7JaQk3Cqi

Organizers from Smash Racism DC sent me clips from their protest last night outside Fox News host Tucker Carlson's home. They were demonstrating against his coverage of the migrant caravan & other issues. Twitter banned them by the end of the night, so the videos are hard to find pic.twitter.com/rg3WDnoawd
Although Acosta’s behavior may have been unprofessional, I’m not convinced he was intentionally “putting his hands on” the intern. It looks like he did put up his hand to keep her back, but the way he is holding his hand does not look like a “karate chop” as some have said. Has the intern said anything about it?
Acosta was swatting her away. I wonder if he would have treated a big burly man the same way. Somehow I think not. The idea of being faceplanted to the floor in front of your colleagues might have halted the bad behavior.
I guess I’m thinking that a swatting would have been a quicker movement of the arm and hand. I do agree that he was keeping her from the microphone by raising his hand, and that he shouldn’t have done that.
No news this morning.
A shooting in California.
