Anyone have something to share?
Psalm 119:17-24
ג Gimel
17 Be good to your servant while I live,
that I may obey your word.
18 Open my eyes that I may see
wonderful things in your law.
19 I am a stranger on earth;
do not hide your commands from me.
20 My soul is consumed with longing
for your laws at all times.
21 You rebuke the arrogant, who are accursed,
those who stray from your commands.
22 Remove from me their scorn and contempt,
for I keep your statutes.
23 Though rulers sit together and slander me,
your servant will meditate on your decrees.
24 Your statutes are my delight;
they are my counselors.
Please pray that God will give me a clear-thinking mind and a peaceful, calm heart, no matter what comes along. It seems that every little thing that pops up causes me to feel unduly stressed and overwhelmed. I realize that this is probably par for the course of grieving, but our God wants us to overcome “par for the course”, to be an overcomer and more than a conqueror in Christ.
One positive thing I can say is that I don’t “freak out” in front of my family, so I guess I do mostly keep my overwhelmed feelings in check in that way.
Thank you for all your prayers for me and my family. God bless you all.

Kizzie, don’t beat yourself up over being human and being weak. We grieve not as others who have no hope, but we do grieve. (I’m not saying don’t pray for a clear mind, etc., but don’t feel like you have failed as a Christian if normal life is a bit more challenging in times of grief, just as it is in times of illness.)

Thank you, Cheryl. I am trying to cut myself some slack and be patient with myself. When I feel that I am letting things slide, I remind myself of how far I’ve come, how much I’ve already accomplished, and that I know I will get to things, just slowly.

I am jazzed beyond belief!
Sitting in Row 48 A, where the plane curves back to the tail.
There is a five inch gap between the seat ahead of me and the wall of the plane. My leg with the bad aching knee can stretch out full length!
So very thankful.

Nightingale and The Boy were playing Lacrosse with a baseball in the backyard and she got hit smack in the eye with the ball. Initially, she felt a little dizzy, but that feeling went away. Now, about four hours later, she has a little headache, and her eye is sore, but she can still see and her pupils are reactive, so she thinks she’s okay. But please pray there won’t be any other repercussions from that hit.
