I haven’t used a leaf blower enough to compare with raking, but I don’t think it would work well on the grass with the number of leaves we get. It would be nice for on the deck when it is dry and full of needles and leaves. Then again, a broom works great and is also good for spider webs. I thank God for all technology, though, that helps us out.
Leaf blowers on grass: if the grass is short and the blower is powerful, it works okay. To me, it’s more noise. I mulch the leaves into the grass with the mower, unless they’re so deep I can’t get the mower through.
Enjoy the Fall weather some of us are getting while you read the funnies.
I use the leaf blower on the large wood chips under my neighbor’s trees that until last Saturday were overwhelming our yard and stunting our trees.
The chips were big, the leaves small, so I didn’t blow up most of them.
Like Peter, I blow leaves onto the grass then mow them up.
It’s time for me to start closing up the garden but, alas, I’m on my way, yet again. These will be the 26th and 27th flights since Easter. I’m tired of traveling.
The gutter guys use leaf blowers here and blow leaves off the roof. Then they blow what came off the roof into areas away from the house that are in a more natural state.
Many times the leaves in the yard are wet and soggy and only a rake would work on them.
I have been so busy taking care of my new responsibilities this week. Only through God’s strength and guidance can I get over all the hurdles.
Some good info on things to be aware of related to senior’s medical coverage for the upcoming year. Also tells what those annual wellness visits by nurses to your home are really about as a scheme to add diagnosis details to up what insurers collect from the government.
Good morning.

Chilly and foggy this morning! We are enjoying Autumn finally.
Husband uses a leaf blower to remove pine needles and pods from the driveway. He also uses it to remove such from the roof gutters…
I enjoyed raking leaves when we lived in town.As kids we always raked and enjoyed jumping in the leaf piles!

And my husband laughs.
