  1. 🙂 Safe drive in blizzard conditions to my daughter’s (2 hours away) and back to deliver her car back to her.

    🙂 Nap time

🙂 Over 900 campers registered for summer in less than 1 month

🙂 Tomorrow is camp Sunday at church (different camps set up tables in the foyer with information)

  2. 🙂 I bought her a heart shaped demand necklaces for her sixtieth anniversary.
She insists on wearing some red, white and black beads she bought at Belk.
OK by me. Just a bit amusing.

  3. She wears whatever she wants to wear. I never had anything to do with women’s wardrobes until the last two years. She still makes most of the decisions. She is very careful about things matching.

  4. Our SS teacher didn’t show up this morning.
He didn’t call anyone. Just didn’t show up.
I took the lesson. From I Cor. 1:16f
I had not prepared to teach, but we got through it.
I mentioned the discussions about BJU and others not supporting BGraham.

  5. 🙂 The high school jazz ensemble my younger son plays in did well enough at the district contest yesterday that they qualified for state! I’m not sure if my husband and I will try to get to the state championship – it’s three hours away – but he does have the day off (he always takes vacation the week after Easter), and I can get it off if I ask. Jon just has to see if he already has some doctor’s appointment scheduled that he doesn’t want to have to reschedule and wait longer for.

😦 Because he’s in a lot of pain with his knee. It might be bad enough now to get allow him to get a handicap parking permit. He’s seeing a pain specialist this week, I think. Today he had to use a cane while leading the worship service.

😦 In comparison with that, I’m merely a bit uncomfortable, but this cold just won’t let go. I was starting to feel better after a few days on the antibiotic (which I continue taking for another five days), but while the headache is mostly gone, now I’m losing my voice again and my cough sounds awful. I don’t think it feels as bad as it sounds, but I won’t be giving the speech in Toastmasters that I had planned for tomorrow’s meeting.

🙂 At least we have good insurance to take care of these health problems. Not as good as some we’ve had previously, but it covers most things pretty well. And since it’s tied to my husband’s job, not mine, I don’t have to worry about losing health insurance if our union decides to strike. I know that’s a big concern for some of my co-workers (and personally I hope it motivates them to vote no on the strike vote).
