It’s Wednesday, so don’t forget Ajisuun and The Gambia.
Anyone else?
Psalm 125
1 Those who trust in the Lord are like Mount Zion,
which cannot be shaken but endures forever.
2 As the mountains surround Jerusalem,
so the Lord surrounds his people
both now and forevermore.
3 The scepter of the wicked will not remain
over the land allotted to the righteous,
for then the righteous might use
their hands to do evil.
4 Lord, do good to those who are good,
to those who are upright in heart.
5 But those who turn to crooked ways
the Lord will banish with the evildoers.
Peace be on Israel.
Pretty sure I have bronchitis – most of last night was spent coughing up a lung. It is odd because I never had cold or flu symptoms, just the cough.

That’s the virus that is going around here, Roscuro. It lasts a long time and the people I know are struggling to get out the phlegm. Be careful.

RKessler, over the counter cold & flu remedies almost never work for me. I was given a decongestant when I had the bad attack in West Africa, and it dried out my lungs so much that it hurt just to take a breath. I just drink a lot of fluids, and, if I have it, fenugreek tea – one of the natural remedies my mother suggested which actually seems to work for me (it could be just the fact I’m taking in more fluids when I drink the tea). I never drink fenugreek, which acquires a very slippery and slimy texture when boiled, without thinking of how Josephus poured boiling fenugreek on the siege engines of the Romans during the siege of Jotapata, causing the soldiers to stumble and slide on the siege ramps.

I would have never put that together, Roscuro, but I’ll remember it if I ever drink fenugreek tea! LOL

Whatever I had in November took two months. I took several boxes of Mucinex. I finally realized I had to get the kind you have to sign for. My sympathies are with all of you who are fighting it. I was worn out.
