Anyone have something to share?
Psalm 8
1 Lord, our Lord,
how majestic is your name in all the earth!
You have set your glory
in the heavens.
2 Through the praise of children and infants
you have established a stronghold against your enemies,
to silence the foe and the avenger.
3 When I consider your heavens,
the work of your fingers,
the moon and the stars,
which you have set in place,
4 what is mankind that you are mindful of them,
human beings that you care for them?
5 You have made them a little lower than the angels
and crowned them with glory and honor.
6 You made them rulers over the works of your hands;
you put everything under their feet:
7 all flocks and herds,
and the animals of the wild,
8 the birds in the sky,
and the fish in the sea,
all that swim the paths of the seas.
9 Lord, our Lord,
how majestic is your name in all the earth!
I just need the strength to get through the day today and for the rest of the week. I have to find another line of work.

Miguel made it through the night. He is really hurting today. They fixed the left leg yesterday. Right leg had external framework installed to keep alignment. Surgery either tomorrow or Thursday. They wanted to give his system a break , as he was under anesthesia for a long time yesterday.
God has provided people to meet every need. My son has people who love him to care for him. My critters are being fed. Work will let me be off as long as I need.
Thank you so much for praying. We still need to get his blood sugar back under control. They took away his meds and have not been treating it well. His pain is also not very well controlled.

Praying for you and Miguel. Rejoicing in needs being met, especially as that is something that I specifically prayed. Rest in this day. I will pray for the pain and other issues as will all of your wandering friends. Blessings

Oh, rkessler, praying for you all. What an ordeal. Thankful for good doctors and nurses and medical procedures that we didn’t have not so long ago.
When my cousin was hit in the crosswalk they didn’t think the leg break was out of the ordinary, but it did turn out to be quite complex to put it all back together again — long, long surgery. But they did it and he’s on his way back to a ‘new’ normal life, with perhaps a limp to remind him of it all.
Keep us posted. Take care of yourself.

rkessler, I don’t mean to be crass, but please, get a good lawyer (and by “good,” I mean ethical as well as one who will listen to you and work diligently on your behalf). My guy did everything for me and was worth every penny.

I’m so sorry to hear that, but grateful she’s no longer suffering and that it was relatively quick in the end.
She was such a delight on the blog, so funny, she always made me laugh out loud, even though she went through some pretty tough times (I think ever since that tornado hit, there had been frequent challenges).
Prayers for Tim & their son and all of their close family and friends. Grieving with you, yet rejoicing in knowing her destination was sure & that we will all meet in time. God’s peace.

Thank you for praying for me with my request yesterday. My piano lesson with my student heading off to college went well, and though I got a little teary saying goodbye at the end of her lesson, I didn’t fall apart.
Also, praising God that it turns out today was only a temporary goodbye to A. She asked me if I would be willing to teach her again next summer and when she is home on breaks. I was so thrilled to say yes, I would love to.
A great blessing, how God has worked this all out. Thank you for praying.

Feeling so sad about Kbells passing, yet through the sorrow, also joyful to know she is with Jesus.

Prayers for other tremendous needs of RKessler and Miguel.
Lifting up Kim over her disappointment.
Thankful for 6 Arrows report.
Also lifting Donna during job uncertainty.
Asking God to meet the needs of Karen and Lee…also for salvation for all family members.
Asking God for Cheryl’s sister to rest in the Lord as things seem overwhelming. Give her strength and good care. Trust in the Lord to provide for needs of afflicted family members in her absence.
Thanks, Father God, for provision for Miguel’s broken body to be repaired. Please stabilize his blood sugar.
Prayers for others as posted. In Jesus, Amen

KBells often wrote of her struggles with The Kid. (I think he’s in his mid-teens now, but I remember her writing back when he was three, & the big issue back then was that it was hard to get him into the bath.) Let’s pray that this tragedy of losing his mother will drive him into the Savior’s arms, & not away from Him.

Interesting, Kizzie; that was part of my prayer as well.

It’s a hard road ahead for Tim and the Kid. May they know God’s love and tender mercy through it all. My own family of birth lost our father before we three younger ones were grown, my sister’s family the father, and my husband and the girls lost the mother–it’s a life-changing loss, and a grievous one, and I am so sorry they have it to face.
For KBells herself it is glory, and we will meet her face to face before we know it.
