Anyone have something to share?
Psalm 80
1 Hear us, Shepherd of Israel,
you who lead Joseph like a flock.
You who sit enthroned between the cherubim,
shine forth 2 before Ephraim, Benjamin and Manasseh.
Awaken your might;
come and save us.
3 Restore us, O God;
make your face shine on us,
that we may be saved.
4 How long, Lord God Almighty,
will your anger smolder
against the prayers of your people?
5 You have fed them with the bread of tears;
you have made them drink tears by the bowlful.
6 You have made us an object of derision to our neighbors,
and our enemies mock us.
7 Restore us, God Almighty;
make your face shine on us,
that we may be saved.
8 You transplanted a vine from Egypt;
you drove out the nations and planted it.
9 You cleared the ground for it,
and it took root and filled the land.
10 The mountains were covered with its shade,
the mighty cedars with its branches.
11 Its branches reached as far as the Sea,
its shoots as far as the River.
12 Why have you broken down its walls
so that all who pass by pick its grapes?
13 Boars from the forest ravage it,
and insects from the fields feed on it.
14 Return to us, God Almighty!
Look down from heaven and see!
Watch over this vine,
15 the root your right hand has planted,
the son you have raised up for yourself.
16 Your vine is cut down, it is burned with fire;
at your rebuke your people perish.
17 Let your hand rest on the man at your right hand,
the son of man you have raised up for yourself.
18 Then we will not turn away from you;
revive us, and we will call on your name.
19 Restore us, Lord God Almighty;
make your face shine on us,
that we may be saved.

Prayer for husband who had a miserable pain filled night and is basically immobile today. And for me who had a very disturbed sleep in caring for him. Hopefully, it is just that he takes his chemo drug on Friday and over did in projects yesterday. But he is swollen and sore and falling asleep constantly for brief moments.

Prayers for all above. For your mom, and sibling situation, too, NancyJill.
Mumsee, did I miss something? I didn’t know your husband was taking a chemo drug. (I did hear once of someone being recommended some form of chemo for a non-cancerous condition. Is this the case with your hubby, too?)

Yes, it is rheumatoid arthritis. They are trying to suppress the immune system from fighting itself, which opens up a whole bunch of other problems.
We are not convinced the diagnosis is correct, however as the symptoms don’t quite line up and the meds don’t quite do what they are supposed to. But they do something. Today it is make him extremely tired and leave him in a lot of pain.

Tooth, etc., hurt a lot tonight. I overdid things this morning, doing a big clean-up with the kids for a couple hours this morning while I was feeling well and pain-free. Big mistake. I was in pain all afternoon and most of this evening, including now. Sitting still and looking straight ahead is about the only thing that doesn’t make the pain worse.
Prayers for patience as I wait for my June 7th appointment to find out what’s going on / what is next.

Mumsee, just finished reading another article about Lymes Disease. 50% false negative to diagnose. Woman had 3 false positives and started treatment before getting a positive one finally. It can mimic many other diseases, though. Sure hope he find some help.

Hubby would like some prayer for anxiety. He finds himself reacting with anxiety to minor things that never bothered him before. If he hears me or someone else say something like, “Oh, my!” (something I say occasionally) or “Oh, crap!” (IOW, not necessarily a cry of alarm) he reacts internally as if there must be some emergency he needs to take care of. He realizes that he is overreacting, but can’t seem to stop that initial feeling (like his heart starting to race).

Prayers for relief 6…can you tell them to put you on a cancellation list as this pain is quite intolerable?
Praying for calm and peace for L Kizzie…sometimes we overthink situations and everything becomes a trigger for anxiety…may our Lord give him calm and a settling of the nerves.
My older sister is traveling down to Mom’s today and will spend the night, going back home tomorrow…praying for peace and no drama between family members (I know that is asking much, but the Lord is able!)

NancyJill, I’m thinking I will call them tomorrow and ask if they could do just that. They never offered to put me on a cancellation list when I talked to them Friday, and I didn’t think of asking, as my pain wasn’t really bad right then. In fact, overall, it seemed like things were improving. But it’s ridiculous now, the things I can’t do anymore, to keep from aggravating the pain. Mornings (after I get out of bed — lying down hurts) are usually pretty pain-free, if I’m not bending over, walking up and down steps with my usual brisk pace, etc., but this morning I couldn’t even sing in church without making my jaw hurt. I sang, anyway, and applied ice when I got home from church.
Thanks for your prayers, everyone.

Praise report, the Kid will most likely past the 8th grade. His councilor thinks he is ADD, something Hubby has suspected. Hopefully we can now do something about it. Mom’s trailer sold. My part will be enough to pay off the car and put a dent in the credit card debt.
Prayers, the chiropractor doesn’t seem to be working on my sciatica. I am running out of time. I have a paid for writers conference in less than two weeks. With out healing I will either not get to go or try to go and have a miserable time. I will give the chiropractor one more week. It is expensive.
