Pretty strongly worded, but I suspect this is an accurate assessment of the Iranian “rescue” (cough-cough) of our sailors just hours before Obama’s final (and unremarkable, but that’s another topic) SOTU speech.
Iran does this because Iran knows that at this point in his presidency, a nuclear deal is far more important to Barack Obama than anything else. So Iran will inflict one last humiliation upon the man before extracting $100 billion from him four days from now.
It wasn’t enough to make him bow down. Iran wanted Obama on his knees. Iran wanted him and the country he governs humiliated before a global audience.
Unfortunately, Iran got exactly what it wanted. The Iranian humiliation of Barack Obama is now complete.

Have none of his advisors ever suggested he needs to “Man-up?”
A simple note to the Iranian Ambassador that the hold on their money will be in place until the boats and sailors are freed, minus “shipping and handling” of $100 million a day should help focus the Grand Ayatolla. And oh, we will set aside half to resolve lawsuits (to be brought in Texas or wherever) from Iranians and others forced out of Iran by the Revolution.

“The information that they have given us, and through their commanders is that they did stray accidentally into Iranian waters due to a navigation error,” U.S. Defense Secretary Ash Carter said in an interview with Spanish-language broadcaster Univision in Miami. “So that seems to be the original cause of this, according to the interviews that we have done.”

Hillary’s tanking worse than in “08 when Obama primaried her. Meanwhile Bernie the pinko is raking in the big bucks. Democrats are tired of pretending and have gone full on socialist.
On the R side I keep waiting for someone to stand out as a viable alternative, but that seems to be less likely the later it gets since the establishment and their voting base are so far out of sync. They seem intent on snatching defeat from the jaws of victory.
I’m hoping Trump’s mask slips a bit tonight, and someone else finally stands out clearly. But that’s probably asking too much huh?

It should be interesting to hear the sailors’ first-hand version of things once they’re able to speak freely.
One commentator suggested that this incident — and the timing of it — is where Obama officially slipped into “Jimmy Carter” territory.
