There ain’t no news today.
Fox, CNN, MSNBC are carrying something about Bill cosby.
I’ve never seen Bill Cosby and care not a bit about him.
One America News (OAN) has a trump speech.
I would read up on my new Kindle White, but don’t want to tackle that now.
Think I’ll start reading The Third Target, a Joel Rosenberg book.
On my old Kindle. I can handle that.
Hillary will suffer whether or not she is indicted. Obama might control the DOJ, but he doesn’t control the FBI. Sources inside the FBI and the DOJ are leaking that multiple felony violations have been discovered. The public will see them before Nov, and Hillary will be very damaged goods.
GOP candidates are brawling with one another. That’ll help. 🙂
I’m sorry to see what’s happened to Bill Cosby, many of us grew up seeing him as a funny, warm, iconic figure, a good guy who broke some pretty tough racial barriers in his day. My mom loved I Spy in the mid 1960s, which I think was his debut TV role.
Sad, not that justice shouldn’t be served on behalf of his (seemingly many) victims — but sad in the sense of sin, our human brokenness and the sorrow it brings to so many. 😦
Guess. On a first name basin here.
. In those days I didn’t have time for TV. Chuck and I would watch “Get Smart” together.
That’s it. I didn’t even get TV news in those days.
In addition to my work, caring for the house and church work. I was taking courses at George Washington U. I needed those courses to qualify me to go to Purdue for a master’s.
I lived an extremely hectic life until the summer of 1979.
Also, the TV set was downstairs. We didn’t watch TV while eating as we do not.
You went downstairs to watch the only set we had.
I haven’t missed a thing.
Mindy Belz, in World, has a good column in the Dec. 26 issue, about the refugee situation. . .
“Less than 1 percent of the global refugee population gets to apply to come to the United States. And those that do will undergo while overseas a multilevel investigation that involves in-person interviews and biometric screening by a Department of Homeland Security agent. In the past agents have actually visited home villages to corroborate the story of threats leading to a request for asylum. If denied, there’s no appeal.
“Immigrant visas, by contrast, can be handled at U.S. embassies and upon arrival in the United States (visa waivers actually may be applied for online), with multiple opportunities to appeal.”
