Prayer Requests 1-3-15

Anyone have something to share?

Psalm 21

¹The king shall joy in thy strength, O Lord; and in thy salvation how greatly shall he rejoice!

Thou hast given him his heart’s desire, and hast not withholden the request of his lips. Selah.

For thou preventest him with the blessings of goodness: thou settest a crown of pure gold on his head.

He asked life of thee, and thou gavest it him, even length of days for ever and ever.

His glory is great in thy salvation: honour and majesty hast thou laid upon him.

For thou hast made him most blessed for ever: thou hast made him exceeding glad with thy countenance.

For the king trusteth in the Lord, and through the mercy of the most High he shall not be moved.

Thine hand shall find out all thine enemies: thy right hand shall find out those that hate thee.

Thou shalt make them as a fiery oven in the time of thine anger: the Lord shall swallow them up in his wrath, and the fire shall devour them.

10 Their fruit shalt thou destroy from the earth, and their seed from among the children of men.

11 For they intended evil against thee: they imagined a mischievous device, which they are not able to perform.

12 Therefore shalt thou make them turn their back, when thou shalt make ready thine arrows upon thy strings against the face of them.

13 Be thou exalted, Lord, in thine own strength: so will we sing and praise thy power.

  1. Jo, that’s how I’m reading Jeremiah this year, as I’ve announced a couple times here lately — one chapter a week in a different version each day.

Imitation is the sincerest form of flattery? 😉

  2. Prayers, Kim.

Thank you for the prayers for my FIL. Hubby is at the hospital visiting him right now.

Let’s continue to pray for Kathaleena. I think she said her dad’s funeral is today.

  3. I was kind of hoping that AJ would go back to Psalm 3 and post them in order to correspond with my Bible reading plan.
It’s an old testament passage a Psalm a day, and a new testament reading. The first 150 days will be a Psalm, then we will go to Proverbs, then something else. My new Bible will be here one day next week but I won’t.

  4. Heavenly Father,

Thank You for seeing us through to the new year. The way things are going in the world, we really don’t know what to expect next. I thank You for the many lives You have saved today both physically and spiritually. I pray for those dear to all of us on the blog who have yet to recognize Jesus fully as their Lord and Savior. Please do whatever it takes to align them with Your good plans for their lives.

Thank You for giving Kim traveling mercies. Please let all go well for everyone in the group. May they all experience peace, joy, hope, and love as You plant Your goodness into lives. Please give healing where it is needed.

I ask You to be with Kathaleena and family in all they are going through. Please give comfort during the sad times and good memories that bring the refreshment of unexpected laughter.

Lord, please help those here who have earnestly made resolutions to have the energy and endurance to advance daily toward their doable goals.

I pray in Jesus’ name, Amen
