Now husband has Occipital Neuralgia. Whatever that is. He thought the barber had given him some sort of chemical burn but it was just another manifestation of the rheumatoid arthritis. Thanks.
Mumsee, ouch. Neuralgia is painful. Rheumatoid arthritis as a lot of ‘side effects’. Many years ago, some time after her initial diagnosis, my mother developed iritis, basically inflammation of the iris of the eye. She could not stand the slightest ray of light on her eye and had to wear an eye patch for a while. A cortisone shot relieved the inflammation and it disappeared for a while and then mysteriously flared up again a few years later. It hasn’t reappeared in a while, but you just never know with an autoimmune condition.
Ouch. I had suggested he find a doctor so when flare ups happen, he will have recourse. The doc told him that, though he is doing very well right now, the arthritis will win and when the insurance kicks in he needs to find a rheumatoid arthritis doctor. You are right, sounds like it can have issues all over the place.

Sorry to hear that mumsee.
There’s some more shake ups going on at the upper levels of our company on the east coast. Pray for jobs, a good outcome.
