Prayer Requests 4-2-14

Anyone have a request or praise they’d like to share?

And it’s Wednesday, so don’t forget the folks in the Gambia.

Psalm 69:1-11

¹Let God arise, let his enemies be scattered: let them also that hate him flee before him.

As smoke is driven away, so drive them away: as wax melteth before the fire, so let the wicked perish at the presence of God.

But let the righteous be glad; let them rejoice before God: yea, let them exceedingly rejoice.

Sing unto God, sing praises to his name: extol him that rideth upon the heavens by his name Jah, and rejoice before him.

A father of the fatherless, and a judge of the widows, is God in his holy habitation.

God setteth the solitary in families: he bringeth out those which are bound with chains: but the rebellious dwell in a dry land.

O God, when thou wentest forth before thy people, when thou didst march through the wilderness; Selah:

The earth shook, the heavens also dropped at the presence of God: even Sinai itself was moved at the presence of God, the God of Israel.

Thou, O God, didst send a plentiful rain, whereby thou didst confirm thine inheritance, when it was weary.

10 Thy congregation hath dwelt therein: thou, O God, hast prepared of thy goodness for the poor.

11 The Lord gave the word: great was the company of those that published it.

  1. Now husband has Occipital Neuralgia. Whatever that is. He thought the barber had given him some sort of chemical burn but it was just another manifestation of the rheumatoid arthritis. Thanks.

  2. Sorry to hear that mumsee.

There’s some more shake ups going on at the upper levels of our company on the east coast. Pray for jobs, a good outcome.

  3. Mumsee, ouch. Neuralgia is painful. Rheumatoid arthritis as a lot of ‘side effects’. Many years ago, some time after her initial diagnosis, my mother developed iritis, basically inflammation of the iris of the eye. She could not stand the slightest ray of light on her eye and had to wear an eye patch for a while. A cortisone shot relieved the inflammation and it disappeared for a while and then mysteriously flared up again a few years later. It hasn’t reappeared in a while, but you just never know with an autoimmune condition.

  4. Ouch. I had suggested he find a doctor so when flare ups happen, he will have recourse. The doc told him that, though he is doing very well right now, the arthritis will win and when the insurance kicks in he needs to find a rheumatoid arthritis doctor. You are right, sounds like it can have issues all over the place.
