Thank you for praying for my dad yesterday, AJ and Janice and anyone else who did. I talked to him on the phone today, and he sounds good. He’ll be seeing his doctor on Monday and plans to bring up the vision issue he had the other night. He and my mom are also open to seeking earlier medical attention if something similar (or unusual in any way) occurs before then.
Update on an older prayer request for 2nd Arrow regarding her vet tech internship. There were many delays in getting her internship assignment established (the school official who was heading up that process is new this year and didn’t get things figured out in a timely manner), but 2nd Arrow just found out today that she got accepted for an internship at the place she most wanted to go! She is very excited! 🙂 Thank you for your prayers for her so far.
If you could now pray that she will be able to find a place to live in the area where her internship will be. She currently lives 5 hours away from that location, and is looking online for inexpensive places to rent. Time is short. She is working two jobs right now, and is a full-time student. Her last day of class is Friday, April 4 and her internship begins Monday, April 7. She doesn’t want to do all the moving in that weekend, but is hoping to move most of her stuff the third week of March, when she is on spring break. So she’s got only about 2-3 weeks to find a place if she wants to move then.
Thanks for all your prayers! Forrest is SO happy to be home. And we are SO happy to have him home. I can’t describe the feeling of relief in my body as well as in my heart.
Tomorrow, Emily will file the papers with the court.
I am so very very relieved. Mama Bear needs to proceed with caution. She is also learning a very valuable lesson. She is also very lucky to have the parents she has.
Something I forgot to mention is that as we were waiting to hear from friends yesterday (if they knew any lawyers who would take the case pro bono) & the legal aid services, & then realized we needed to get a lawyer quickly, I specifically prayed that we would have a lawyer by the end of the day.
Emily signed the papers with the lawyer around 6 that evening. (He had let her come in at the end of the day.) God is so good!
Such good news! I prayed for just the right lawyer years ago and God answered abundantly. I will always be grateful for this man and what he did to preserve my rights. He also had quite a witness as friends always came along to pray and he saw the answers to prayer. I will never forget the time that I took him 3500 in hundred dollar bills that had come anonymously in answer to prayer to pay him. He was so moved that he cried. And he had never added any interest to my bill.
I did pray in the night over yesterday’s requests.
Here is something you all may find interesting about prayer.

Thanks Kathaleena. Those first four verses I know as a song. I will now be singing it today!
