Son’s arm is doing well. We were able to persuade him to take the drugs, or the pain did. Keep ahead of the pain so he heals quicker and he will need fewer in the long run. Thanks for praying.
Mumsee – As I understand it, if it is Lyme Disease (named after a town in my lovely state of Connecticut, BTW), it would be best to get it diagnosed & start treatment ASAP.
Mumsee, it could be Lyme’s and as Karen says, he should be tested for it soon. The other thing it sounds a lot like is the acute phase of rheumatoid arthritis. When my mother was diagnosed with it, she had very similar symptoms – all her joints (hips, knees, wrists, knuckles) were painful and swollen on both sides of her body.
still need prayers for peace in the valley as nothing is resolved.
my back is better, but I am going to wait to go back to my weight lifting.
Please pray for wisdom in dealing with a rash I have. It has gotten worse and seems to be spreading and much more itchy. I may go to the clinic. Am trying to decide if I should just treat it for scabies, which I have had twice before. Will have to wait til Friday to treat as it is time consuming.
Thank you to all who have been praying for my husband and me as we try to find workable solutions to the challenges we’re experiencing in our marriage. There was a lot of emotional upheaval for me this weekend, especially last night, and we weren’t able to fully resolve some things we need to work out. However, we both agreed that it would probably be good to sit down with one of our pastors to talk things out.
We haven’t made an appointment yet, but this morning before church, hubby and I talked more, and that helped a lot. I think we are both understanding each other much better, and today was a very good and healing day, in which we were able to respond to each other’s needs with much more insight, love, and care toward each other.

Glad to hear that, Mumsee.
My knee, although not all better, is feeling much better.

Husband is still in great discomfort. Wrists and hands are hurting as well as knee and legs. I am wondering if he has something like Lymes.

I was leaning toward rheumatoid arthritis, myself. I got home from church and he only hurts in one knee now.
