Who can we pray for today?
Psalm 134
1 Behold, bless ye the Lord, all ye servants of the Lord, which by night stand in the house of the Lord.
2 Lift up your hands in the sanctuary, and bless the Lord.
3 The Lord that made heaven and earth bless thee out of Zion.
I got this as part of an e-mail:
When you pray for others, God listens to you and blesses them;
Sometimes, when you are safe and happy,
Remember that someone has prayed for you.
I usually forget that. I seldom consider that others are praying for me.
I knew my parents were praying for me when I was in the AF. But forgot it after that.

I felt the prayers of this group this week as I walked through the first week of school. It is interesting being on support and not earning a wage. Everything I have is a gift from others and from Him. Keeps me humble and grateful.

I also have felt the prayers of others. I also have experienced having a “secret prayer pal” and knowing that they were praying for me and having something great fall out of the sky and land on my head so to speak. That week at Bible study I was so excited to find out who my secret pal was and tell her what had happened. She was praying for me when it happened! How cool is that?
Some good news to report on BG. She is at my house this weekend. One of her friends sneaked out last night and got caught. She told her mom that she was with BG and BG was so drunk she couldn’t walk. I happened to know that at 1 am my child was asleep in her bed. I had her phone and all forms of communication in my room and this morning at 7:30 when I woke her up she popped right out of bed and talked to me. We ALL know that isn’t typical. I smelled her breath. No alcohol. If she had had as much to drink as she was accused of she would have had a massive headache. She got up, came in the kitchen, talked to me and called her Daddy and talked to him. We both feel she is innocent. Yea!!!!!
As I told you last night and this morning on the Daily Thread, my uncle died yesterday. A lot of things are up in the air right now as he was single and childless at the time of his death. My paternal family could use some prayers.

Please pray that I will be gracious and patient with my dad and stepmom this week. I am so glad they are here, but I need to decompress every night from biting my tongue all day.

Kare, is the week almost over, or is it just startine? Biting your tongue for a week can be tough.

Praising You, Father God, for all the good You have accomplished in the lives of the members of this blog. And that is just the little bit we know about that You have done. Our minds are way too small to hold even one percent of what good You do.
Please give Kare an xtra dose of patience and help her tongue to heal from all the biting of it. Give her peace at the time of her relative’s departure. May all feel their bonds of love have been strengthened through conversation and activities.
Please be in the midst of planning for Kim’s uncle’s funeral. Comfort those who grieve his loss. In Jesus’ name,

Pretty discouraged on the house hunting front. I keep telling myself, it’s not my fault the inventory is so sparse, but I’m not seeing anything that I really want to own. My poor husband is trying hard to be nice about this, but would like to move along. He, apparently, could have been happy anywhere we’ve seen.
Great for him; builds pressure on me–which he doesn’t mean. 😦

Michelle, move to the mountains of North Carolina. There is a plethora of nice homes. It’s a great area.
Except sometimes it rains too much.

Heavenly Father, You own the cattle on a thousand hills. That means You have lots of resources for provision for the needs of Your children. Perhaps You might have upon one of those hills a home for Michelle and her husband.? Please reveal. the home You have especially selected for Michelle’s needs. Please align the desires of her heart to Your desires. Give her husband patients and understanding that the woman of the, house has more interest in the details of the home because it is her work space.
Thank You, Father God, for making a new abode for Michelle and her husband. In the name of Jesus, Amen

Heavenly Father,
I call upon You this evening from Georgia to help friends in Idaho, Mumsee and Mike and family. Please give them peace to pass understanding. Please give them encouragement in the morning. Help them to keep the faith and know that they are heros whose sufferings will not be wasted for they bring glory to You. All they go through can be turned to good for they love You and are called to service for Your purposes. Shine Your everlasting divine love and joy into their lives every moment of every day and night. In Jesus, Amen

Michelle & I have similar situations. She is frustrated, waiting to find the home God has for her. I am frustrated, waiting for my upstairs neighbors to find the home God has for them. Not only is the waiting hard, but the current situation is often tension-filled (at least for me, I don’t know about Michelle.)

That should be “stress-filled”, not necessarily “tension-filled”.

Heavenly Father,
Thank You for good Sunday church services where we can gather with other believes and worship You. Thank You for meaningful Sunday School lessons for children that help the teachers to grow spiritually. You are amazing how You align the two hours to reinforce each other without any plans on our part for coordination. Your supernatural workings are beyond our comprehension. All we can do is thank You.
Lord, I pray for those who are experiencing living arrangement frustrations. Please help with the needs of Karen O and Michelle. Also I ask for myself as our house needs so much repair work after years of neglect. Please make a good way for each of us to find solutions. You hold the keys to the best possible living solutions for each of us. I add Mumsee and family to that request, also. Thank You for your work behind the scenes.
I continue to ask for Kim to be given guidance. Please help Kare to have patience with relatives and to concentrate on the positive traits and overlook the faults (Phil. 4:8) Please help the children of the blog members to find faith in JESUS and never let go. Bless Becca with a good response to treatment for her cough.
Lord, there is never enough time for all the petitions I would like to offer up to You. So I just ask that You would bless the many others I have not named. I pray in the name of Jesus, Amen
