Wandering Views 
Tonight, husband goes in for his sleep test. That leaves me here with eleven children. Prayer that they will be able to diagnose his sleep accurately and get him on the right track. I would suggest weight loss but the same goes for me. And prayer that the children and I would do well. Thanks.

And tell Mike to try and relax. The one thing about those tests is they make you go to a strange place to sleep, which is never easy for most people. I’ll be praying for him, and that he gets a good nights sleep. I hope you and the kids will as well.

Darby update. She is scheduled for surgery tomorrow, putting her skull back in place. She is doing well. She had a staph infection and bed sores but those have all cleared up so she is going in healthy as can be. She is being set in a chair for several hours per day. Seems to be able to loosen the muscles in her hands and now ankles. So therapy continues.

The Kid pushed his Dad too far and got his Christmas gifts taken away. Hubby threatened to do it then said, “you don’t think I will?” When the Kid answered, “No, I don’t.” Hubby didn’t feel like he had any other choice. It is breaking his heart.

Only make threats you are willing to follow through on. For example, eleven year old finally followed directions well enough to go with husband to the symphony this past Sunday. The next day, (thinking he was in and made the cut for future excursions) he was rude to the substitute teacher and got his name written up three times. Lost the trip this weekend to the Boise football game with the big kids. He will be staying home with me and the little guys.
