  1. Beautiful day here as well.

Our last cat will go to the vet on Tuesday for her shots. She’s not sick, but her shots are due.

Plus, once she’s up to date, I’m filling out an application for 2 more. Cheryl wants a new kitty now, and Ive been eyeing up these 2 sister kitties, about 5 months old, in the vets office for a couple weeks. If they’re still their, its clearly a sign….. If not, there are others….🤣

I’ve mourned Mouse and am ready for a new one.

We will are how it plays out.

  2. Morning! It’s another warm one but the forecasters tell us monsoon moisture will fall tonight…you know they keep using that word but it’s more of a tease I believe! Oh Kathaleena I do hope Fall is in the air soon!!

Husband was off to Leadville at four am to crew and pace for his buddy at the Leadville trail run100 miler. His friend is going for his 10th finish and the course has been altered this year due to the fires up there. It will prove to be not as challenging in altitude climb so he just might make it after five failed attempts. Husband finished his 10th a few years ago and decided that was enough of that race but it will be fun for him to pace his buddy to the finish line hopefully!

I’m hoping the kitty sisters are there for you to take home Aj!!

  3. We in Connecticut are having a milder than usual summer, except for two or three heat waves earlier in the summer. This being August, though, I am not letting my guard down. As much as I would like to think we are feeling the approach of fall, I suspect that summer heat may rear its ugly head and wallop us with higher heat before the summer is through. But I certainly would not be disappointed if that does not happen!

  4. My whole house fan gave up last night. I don’t think I can wait for a new one since summer temps can linger. This one was 45 years old. I’ve heard that the new ones are not nearly so noisy and even have a timer.

But I went today and the Beam easy living store was closed. I suppose you are not allowed to live easy on Saturday???!

  5. No easy living on Saturday around here. We have been working in brother’s house.

it’s 9 p.m. and Art has gone grocery shopping. Long day.

Son has another bout with bronchitis, just in time for the semester to start. We have had a l9t of illness in our area. I heard of a school age child who has Covid.

  6. Husband came home early this morning.. his buddy dropped out of the race..hamstring😢

We had a nice rain in the middle of the night.. smells great outside!

Sad that W has bronchitis Janice. Praying for him to heal quickly…and for a great school year of excited engaging students!
Asking the Lord to strengthen you and Art as you sort through brother’s things…❣️

Yay for new kitties.. let the games begin!!

  7. Thank you, NJ.

Sorry to hear your husband’s running partner has that injury. How long does it take to heal? I know of a young man slated to be quarterback who just had an injury before the first game so he will be out for the season. That kind of thing is really tough on athletes.

  8. Oh they will go many places, but only inside the house, and only after they and Fluffy get acquainted and familiar.

Until then they will live like queens.

  9. I love that the fence is only on the sides, and that the front panels are clear plastic, so you can watch them easily when they play, and from what I saw at the vet, they play!
