  3. Happy Noon! It’s 83° and sunny but we continue to have storms. We had one in the night.

    Pumpkin came for breakfast. Today I offered the other half of a can of sardines. She meows more loudly for those than for eggs.

    I am working on thank you notes for flowers and donations, again, today.

    my friend responded and we will go to the fair together. So nice to have someone to go with

  6. It was so hot and muggy this morning. In town they saw a downpour of rain and when I arrived home we got just a spit!! Now it is cooler but the humidity is thick!
    The deer came through last night and obliterated my wild flower garden… all the plants that are deer resistant…hmmm they couldn’t resist such beauty!!! I ran into town to purchase more deer repellent…

    Pip decided to follow me around while I sprayed the plants. She apparently thought it was for licking…boy howdy did she ever jump after that first lick!! Cayenne pepper, garlic and some stinky sulphery ingredients! I think she learned her lesson….it poses no danger to humans or pets… it’s just something deer and rabbits don’t like
