Good morning from the land of flash floods. Yesterday was rain, rain, and more rain. I am so glad it held off until Friday and left us dry on Thursday.
The mowers and leaf blowers are going strong right now while the rain has momentarily stopped. Lawn service companies make good use of small blocks of time with because they have a whole crew.
I have two nice baskets of plants to try and keep alive. I hope Wes will take them with him for his apartment and office. I hope the church got some donations since we asked for that rather than flowers.
Anyway…it is going to be 90 degrees here in the forest today. Possibility of rain this evening which is always welcome.
We had a most lovely visit with our son yesterday. He and his wife are in town for his niece’s wedding taking place today. He is staying at a place in Manitou but they spent the entire day with us here. The Lord is good to us even in the most difficult times….
Janice I am thankful to know the service for your brother went well. I tend to fluster before events and like Kathaleena noted it usually goes much better than we had anticipated! Oh the blessing of our Lord!
