Good morning. We have dangerous air quality today. Our windows are still all open since we do not have air conditioning. That is not my choice. Fortunately, we do not need it often. It is also quite often controlled (shut off) by the electric company since it overloads the system. As mandates force more and more reliable sources of energy those shut offs of both heat and air conditioning will only increase. I suppose all that last should be on the political thread, which is quite sad. I guess that is a show of human nature, which naturally tends to want to look out to enrich oneself. Another reason to thank the Lord for His offer of a new heart.
We have a single unit in our bedroom–I finally got too old to sleep in the heat–otherwise no air conditioning here, either.
We had a fire about 2 miles east of us yesterday, and it was a relief to know that we’d kept one room cool most of the day and without smoke entering the house.
Thanks be to God, the fire was contained. We hadn’t had this fire threat so early in the year before. 😦
Had coffee with two dear friends and now home again. Some were discussing the fire near the interstate yesterday and how scary that was. The USAFA firefighters along with other agencies got the 5 acre fire out quickly. Still no known cause😢

I’m heading to Tahoe for church camp tomorrow. Thinking I should take some of my important documents with me or leave them somewhere.
