Good morning and happy weekend to all. We will be off for a performance at a one-room schoolhouse. It is an annual thing for the group and school association. It will be in the upper fifties with wind. Thankfully, they perform inside!
Oh, back to the fifties would feel like freezing here. We are in the range that can feel like 100 with humidity factored in. I saw that one event this weekend has huge Mister fans to help cool the expected crowd at a nearby watch party in the park.. It is World Cup in Atlanta!
Morning! It is to reach 71 here today with hopes of rain moving in tomorrow.
Kathaleena that sounds like fun! Indoors is better in the wind for sure.
Janice I don’t miss humidity of the east. In a couple weeks daughter and I will be traveling back east and I’m in hopes the wild weather will have expended it’s violent energy!
A few of you have seen the picture I posted on Facebook of my family soon after my brother and I graduated from college. A friend in my Bible study private texted me and said I look like the only nice one in the group. I had never noticed before that I was the only one with a smile and that my brother, mother, and father all have a rather Solomon and stern look. My friend is a portrait artist so 9f course she noticed. My father at times would call me the odd ball in the family and it shows in this picture. I was happy to be the odd ball and not so much like the rest of them, lol
Church then home. Husband changed the temp to 70 in this house before he took a nap. Feels like a meat locker in here! Outside 70 feels much warmer than an air conditioner 70!
