  1. Thanking the Lord for Rkessler’s good news.

Grateful our Annie is in a regular ICU unit. Hopefully, they can stop the dialysis, which they have been doing intermittently. Hopefully, they can find out the cause of her nausea.

  2. Praying still for Annie

    Janice any updates on brother?

Kizzie I pray you had a peaceful weekend … you have been on my heart❣️

Thankful you are home with Miguel and now to settle in RK! I am sure he will feel oh so much better resting at home with his own private nurse.❣️

  3. Great news on Miguel, indeed!

Prayers for Annie to soon have kidney function at the needed level.

Hopefully as she can get off some meds over time the nausea will go away. God, You know what issue is making her feel that ill feeling and I pray You will fix whatever it is.

My brother continues to have excess swelling. More IVs and fluid restriction. It is a rough road for his recovery. He has a very nice room and good people for the most part taking care of him. He has never been confined like this. Open heart surgery recovery went better than this.

  4. I was blessed by a message from my Annie this afternoon. She commented her dialysis went a bit better today. Still not pleasant, though. It was nice to have her be able to text! Ordinary blessings!

  5. NJ – Yes, I did have a nice peaceful weekend right up until Sunday night, shortly before I was going to get ready for bed.

The electricity to the lights over my bathroom sink had gone out again, as well as the outlet on the living room wall which is on the other side of the inside bathroom wall. Well, I had dealt with that for almost a year before it had surprisingly come back on late last year, so although quite disappointed, I knew I could deal with it.

What happened last night, though, was that the electricity to the overhead lights in the bathroom have also gone out, along with the outlet in which were plugged my laptop and the lamp on the side of the couch where I preferred to sit.

I spent much of the morning figuring out how to deal with all of this (after crying, needless to say). I moved a couple of things from the bathroom into the kitchen, and set up my “stuff” from the what was “my” side of the couch to the other side. For reasons too long to explain, that also entailed doing a little rearranging, including moving the coffee table.

I am not thrilled about how things are, but I know that it is temporary, until I can move to Woodland Springs. But it does have me feeling pretty down. I had really liked my living room the way it was.

  6. Thankful for the communication from Annie…I teared up reading that as a Mom my heart just swelled!

Kizzie I am so sorry about the electrical issues…is that something the contractor said couldn’t be easily fixed or at least temporarily? My parents home was built in 50 and they had so many issues with the fuse box and lights popping when I visited and plugged in a hair dryer! I am asking the Lord to keep you protected from all obstacles in the path and if He so desires that you would move up on the wait list of the retirement apartment sooner! Here’s for better days ahead!

Continued prayer for your brother Janice…thankful he is blessed with nice accommodations and pleasant people about him!

Prayer for me as we navigate living arrangements for my Mom. Little sis informed me of some crisis mode issues today and expected me to come up with an answer! I had researched and secured some avenues for meeting needs but they seem to have dropped the ball so to speak and delays are upon us. Seeking the Lord and seeing no solutions…and older sister is being difficult. I will be making calls myself tomorrow although I have no POA and other sisters do have…no one wants to talk to me even though I am a daughter…try try and try again!

  7. NJ – So sorry that you are having that issue with trying to help your mom. How frustrating!

It had been decided that because of the very high cost of what needed to be done on the house, which exceeded the amount of the loan I was eligible for, I would not have the work done after all. The realtor I had contacted had assured me that even a house like this can sell, probably to someone who would fix it up and flip it. Praying it sells pretty quickly when the time comes.
