  1. Good morning!

We have had a busy few days.

I completed my work run. Now, I am working and avg of 2 shifts a week rather than overtime every week.

Trey’s border collie got run over this weekend. We all cried.

Monday, we made our annual trek and picked up canning tomatoes, and since d we were there, got 2 more sacks of green and red chile. Then, since we were right there @ I-25, went up to Belen, and got a Great Pyrenees/border collie puppy.

Yesterday, we went to Mountainair to drop off Miguel’s van as it has a radiator problem. We took the truck and trailer and picked up a huge hog. He will eat all of the garden scraps and then go into the freezer.

I am working on getting all g he rest of the h e produce out of the garden, as frost has killed the plants

I got a big bucket of squash and another of cucumbers. I will tackle the green tomatoes today, and try to get all of the beans picked. There is still another bed of cucumbers, and I will leave the root crops till later.

Jeffe, the new dog, is bringing a lot of joy to our home. Time to get cracking on school.

  2. You are amazing RKessler! Congrats on the new pup. It is a good thing for all ♡

I am going to a birthday luncheon after a bit. It will be early so some will count it as brunch. Iwas able to get nine ladies together to celebrate our friend.

I believe Soul on Fire was mentioned by a friend as one we might go see together. It sounded like it would be good but we did not go.

  3. I don’t think I have been to a theater to watch a movie since the first Star Trek movie came out. It would be a waste of money for me, as if it were dark and I was still, I would fall asleep.

  4. Fourteen years ago I woke up alone, in a friend’s house, with eyes extremely red from whatever she used to wash her sheets; many hours later I lay in the arms of my new husband.

He and I just had a lunch date, the first in a couple of years. (He’s mostly housebound.)

  5. Happy. Anniversary Cheryl. We remember the day our Lord brought you two together…thankful.❣️

RK you are busy!!! I saw the puppy on FB in Trey’s arms…a sweet photo.

I had coffee with two sweet friends… it lasted four hours! One of friends who is also a neighbor just found out she has melanoma. She goes to oncologist tomorrow. We are praying… she is so scared but trusting the Lord through it all…

  6. What a sweet memory, Cheryl. Thanks for sharing.

Trying to figure out how to send a text message to more than one phone number. aaarrrgh….. Any ideas. I am sending reminder texts to folks bringing food for a memorial service. Do I have to send just one at a time??? I don’t have the whole church in my address book.
