“Fox News just absolutely stunned Sen. Jeane Shaheen (D).

SHAHEEN: I haven’t heard anyone in my party wanting to give illegals taxpayer-funded healthcare!

FOX: I’m glad you said that. I have some tape…

“Show of hands: provide coverage for illegal aliens?”

EVERY DEMOCRAT PRESIDENTIAL CANDIDATE: *Raises hand*

FOX: That’s literally every member of your party…from moderate to progressive.”

  2. The article by Os Guiness does not say to stay out of politics. In fact, it expands, in a sense, how to be engaged.

I would never expect all others to not misunderstand Christians, whether left or right. Why would any of us expect that? Jesus was totally misunderstood. It never stopped him from his mission.

BREAKING: Senate Erupts in Laughter At CHUCK

SCHUMER As He Accuses Liberal NYT of

    ANTI-DEMOCRAT BIAS

Senator Chuck Schumer: “Now, I know the leader is going to show a poll that says that Democrats will be blamed for the shutdown. There are many more polls that show Republicans are blamed. The question in that poll is biased. Biased. In the New York Times, but it’s biased. If you turn the question- [Laughter]

That’s true. I don’t always believe the New York Times, you can be sure of that. Neither do you.

    Okay.”

LOL — that’s rich. Chuck Schumer stood on the Senate floor claiming The New York Times is biased against Democrats, and members of both parties busted out laughing.

The liberal NYT being accused of anti-Dem bias?

He must be joking. It’s so blatantly partisan against conservatives it’s absurd to hear that from him.

Can’t believe he actually said that.

  4. Kathaleena – I hope I did not give the impression that I was suggesting that Christians should stay out of politics or completely avoid the topic. The point I was trying to get across is that we should be careful to keep our politics in the right balance, and to be respectful in how we engage.
