Morning! It is a beautiful start to the day. Rain predicted for the next week! We are thankful and pray M’s neck of the woods sees relief in way of moisture… praying for you M🙏
I would ship buckets of water if I could to those in need in CA. We keep having so much rain. I am fighting a new ditch trying to form from overflowing gutters.
What about Cracker Barrel changing their logo? They recently changed some of their food so it is poorer quality. They’ve lost business from that, and think a sign change will help that? I don’t think so.
A friend and I used to meet at Cracker Barrel as it was known as home cooked comfort food. The sweet smell of a crackling fire in the huge fireplace was cozy and comforting. Then the food became almost intolerable…I would get biscuits and gravy every time but it started tasting like paste! Drug addicted and homeless persons started camping out by the mall and would break into cars in the parking lot. Or you would be accosted as you walked in or out. The new sign and reimagining of the place will shut it down for sure.
I agree, Kizzie, that the sign itself is okay, and it does fit with the uncluttered style of today. But does it fit the style inside the restaurant? The inside is full of fun clutter! Maybe they plan to change that, too? I think maybe they are wanting to take the country out and start creating a new market or something, but a sign change with bad food will get them no where except in the red at end of the year budget analysis time.
It’s Friday again? Time flies like a rocket. Fruit flies like a banana.

the only moisture I’ll see today will be in the pool. Slated to be our first 100 degree day

This piece has photos of both the old and new Cracker Barrel logos. I don’t think it is too bad. It kept a similarity to the old one.

Janice – I did read somewhere that the inside will change, but only in a handful of their restaurants.
Just found this video that shows the renovation. Seems different, but similar, too.
