50th anniversary celebration this afternoon for family members. We attended the wedding a half-century ago when my hair was to my waist and I took care of the signature book.
That led me to figuring out what percentage of my life I’ve known my children.
Much higher than I thought.
But then, I’m old enough to have attended a wedding 50 years ago! 🙂
🙂 Finally heard from the contractor whom my mortgage guy had contacted for me. He sounded very personable, and apologized for not getting back to me sooner, as he had had a busy week. We made an appointment for Tuesday afternoon for him to come over to take a look at what needs doing.
Although relieved about that, I do feel a little bummed that it is like starting this portion of the situation over again, having once more to explain all that needs to be done.
Also, I am wondering if he will be able to do all that I had hoped within the same estimate that Dave had given me. That is the amount included in the rehab loan, which is still going through.
