Chickadee is coming over today for a kind of long-delayed visit. Please pray that somehow she and Nightingale will “connect” better, and get along well, drawing them closer as sisters. (Currently, they are emotionally estranged, each being displeased with the other.)
My dad fell again this morning. Husband was helping him but dad tried to save himself and fell backwards unexpectedly. Some bleeding on the arm but seems okayish.
Talking with brother. He is confident he and his wife will be able to handle whatever comes up. But he has to be very careful with his back and she broke her foot about a month ago.
My day with Chickadee was very nice! (Nightingale and Teen were gone for most of the time that she was here. 😀 ) We started off talking for quite a while about various things. After a while, I ordered pizza to be delivered, and we watched a movie together. The other two came home as we were finishing up the movie, and we all had a piece of cake.
Chickadee has been involved with a mental health program which includes group therapy, which she initially was afraid to do but faced it anyway. She said that it has helped her a lot. I am so glad to hear that, and proud of her for pursuing that on her own (or at least mostly on her own).
It was so good to see her, and to have that wonderful time of chatting with her.
