“When Mike Pompeo was running the CIA, he allowed the Russia hoax to continue. He could have ended it all without costing the taxpayer millions. He could have spoken up for the man who appointed him. He did not.”

  2. “Another federal judge this week admitted the courts have no authority in second-guessing the president’s key deportation policy.Judge John Holcomb (Trump):”

The plain text of the AEA makes clear that the President’s authority to detain and remove noncitizens hinges upon the President’s ‘proclamation’ that ‘any invasion or predatory incursion is perpetrated, attempted, or threatened against the territory of the United States.’

By its nature, that congressional grant of authority leaves it to the President to decide whether an ‘invasion’ or ‘predatory incursion’ has occurred. And, because the AEA permits the President to decide whether those events have occurred, the AEA necessarily also grants to the President the discretion to decide what those terms mean.””

  3. Once again the rear echelon types screw the pooch, and it’s the boots on the ground that suffer for this judicial activism.

“The Judge’s orders in the DVD case are literally putting ICE agents’ lives in danger. He grounded a removal flight to South Sudan that was already over east Africa, and now three ICE agents are “marooned in Djibouti with eight criminal migrants under ‘outrageous’ living conditions and the threat of rocket attacks from Yemen.” The illegal aliens these ICE agents are charged with securing in the meantime have been convicted of murder, sexually assaulting minors, robbery and arson. nypost.com/2025/06/05/us-…

  4. Well of course they aren’t talking about it, it shows Trump’s right, and Biden was incompetent.

“No one is talking about this……but remember how FEMA couldn’t deliver RVs to victims of Helene in Western North Carolina?

Well… Trump’s FEMA got it done in less than 2 weeks for Kentucky and they paid for hotels for all the victims.

ALL WE NEEDED WAS A NEW PRESIDENT!!!”

  5. I confess I don’t remember a lot of my American history very well. Reading today, I see that the Alien and Sedition Acts were passed for pretty partisan reasons, and outrage over them contributed to Adams being voted out and Jefferson elected President in 1800. There were four acts, three of which were allowed to expire, and only the Alien Enemies Act remains in force. They’re an interesting read.

  6. Djibouti has an American navy base; I’m sure the site does not have outrageous living conditions. In addition to the US base, France, China and Japan have military bases in Djibouti – it’s probably the safest place in Africa.

I studied US history in an American Christian college. The Alien and Sedition Acts were taught as a close call for the new republic to fall into either dictatorship or simply fall apart as rule of law deteriorated.
