  1. Good morning! We continue to have delightful weather. I have been able to get out for daily walks. Yesterday, I saw a sign in a yard that said, Save the CDC.

Mumsee, I have continued to ponder your question about the origin of wisdom. One thing that popped into my head is the verse which says, best I can remember, “If anyone lacks wisdom, let him ask of God, who gives freely.” So wisdom is a gift from God, but we have to be humble and recognize that we have need of it, God has it, and we must ask for Him to share His wisdom with us. Otherwise, we are arrogant know-it-alls.

I also thought about the verse, as I recall it, ” Now faith is a gift from God lest anyone boast . . .” So, I am thinking wisdom is similar to faith, both are gifts from God to be sought out from His gracious hand. We know that faith originated with God but the details of its original beginning are unknown to us.

  3. Morning! We are socked in with thick fog and it is cold! Snow is coming tomorrow and Thursday … so much for Spring! But I have my hummingbird feeder out… and the scout has frequented it already!

Good verses and thoughts Janice. It reminded me of the scripture that says wisdom from God is pure…. That would surely be opposite of the know it all wisdom of man.

Jo I have read that book. Dan Walsh is a favorite of mine. 😊

  4. Brrr here too, Nj. Water standing in the yard from the couple of inches we got yesterday. We also have a trace of snow, and the wind is supposed to be quite strong (by our standards) later.

  5. Good morning. One of my recent readings through the Bible quickly, I was impressed by how quickly they (and we) forget God. So, this morning I was reading in John 13, about Jesus predicting His betrayal. Peter prodded the beloved disciple to ask who it was. Jesus said it was the one he gave the dipped bread to. Then Judas was sent on his way, but none of the disciples connected the dots? Why? Would we? I doubt it. Too busy with our own thoughts and worries.

  6. Beautiful sunshine here and warm. May head to the pool later.

However rain will be here over the weekend.

Bought more plants yesterday. Now, will they actually get planted?? Something that I have never done.

  7. I have been listening to The Discovery by Dan Walsh. If you have Audible membership, it is free to listen to. I wanted to read it partly because it is set in Charleston. I am also listening to Christy by Cathering Marshall, and an Oregon Trail series by Melody Carlson. They are all very good for seeing me through my chores.

  8. Our part of scoring the scholarship applications is done. I am so good at giving out money. I kept saying well let’s give them another 10 dollars, which left us with just 5 dollars in the pot!!

We gave it all. Now others get to inform the students and then send funds to the university.
