  1. Happy Birthday, Kare! It is a sweet week to have a birthday, so close to Valentine’s Day. I know when you were born that you must have been referred to as the sweetest Valentine’s gift your parents ever gave to each other (two days early)! So glad to celebrate you today!

  2. I posted this a few minutes ago to the end of yesterday’s thread:
“At the very top of the whole thread, on my mobile device, there is a WordPress bar. To the far right on the bar I see the spectacles (glasses), the notifications bell, and my profile picture. The picture means I am logged in.”

  4. Happy Birthday, Kare!

I, too, have to double click to type. And I don’t see glasses, I just see a gray square next to the bell, and another one in the upper left. When I click it, it goes to a WordPress page and I can see the W logo on the left and the glasses on the right with the ? (Help Center) link.

    Odd.

  5. Happy birthday, Kare!

We’re expecting a lot of snow this afternoon and tonight.

Mrs B has been planning a baby shower for our DIL for Saturday. Some people are driving pretty long distances to be there, but now we have more big snow forecast for that day. Mrs B will be talking today with DIL about whether or not to reschedule.

  6. We were -26 this morning when I got up. 33 sounds cold for California. Certainly, a need for heat.

    Happy birthday again, Kare!

Bummer if they have to postpone the baby shower. It is difficult to know sometimes when you listen to the weather people. Of course, they just make educated guesses.

  7. Unless I missed noticing, it looks like nobody used the Reply option today. I have to admit that I wasn’t happy to see that pop up. I leave each day’s threads on tabs on my laptop, and pick up where I left off, at the bottom of the thread. With replies, one has to go back up to see if any have been posted since the last time the blog was checked.

(I’m not fond of that option on Facebook, either, but mostly for longer discussions.)

    Oh, well, I will adjust.

    Carry on.

    (my wayward son 😀 )

  8. I still encounter some glitchy stuff trying to post but I suppose that is engaging my problem solving skills…which lack most days!!

Feel better birthday girl…snuggled on a sofa on such a cold day sounds divine!! 🎂❣️
