  1. Our pastor was touch and go but is now doing better. They are lessening the oxygen they give him and believe he will be able to be off dialysis for his kidneys at some point. There has been much prayer for him. The pastor who filled in to preach yesterday said all the churches around were also praying for him. This all began with the flu. He does have underlying health issues, which I am sure contributed to the danger he was in. Thanking the Lord for his improvement.

  2. Husband is off to Lewiston today, taking the two to GED and work force training. He can do that because his fever was under one hundred at ninety nine point nine. I expect it to rise by afternoon.

Good beautiful morning to you all! A comfortable fourteen degrees feeling like fourteen with a tad more snow.

  3. tried to back that up when I realized I was on the prayer thread but you know our current challenge on here. But I suppose everything could go on the prayer thread what with the pray always rule.

  4. Miguel got moved out of icu to med surg. Still working on weaning him off the oxygen. His blood sugar was finally down in the Nirmal zone, so perhaps his immune system will kick in. The steroids had his BGL in the 400s.

Again, thank you for your prayers.

  5. Please pray for Boy. He had just gotten over a virus early last week, and now he has another one. The school called this morning for someone to come pick him up. With them not able to reach Nightingale, who was at work and probably didn’t see the call come in, I called Other Grandfather, who went to get him.

(Unrelated note: With Hubby gone, I have sometimes thought that maybe I should drop the use of the word “Other” for “Other Grandfather”, or if I refer to him to someone in person as “[Boy’s] other grandfather,” dropping that “other.” And yet, to me, Hubby is still his grandfather. He may not be around anymore, but Boy did/does not have only one grandfather, if that makes sense.)

  7. Rkessler, Miguel is traveling the long road to healing. So glad God blessed him with you by his side to love and care for him during this fragile time. Thankful that he is making progress, a day closer to release, in the grand scheme.

Thank You, Father God, for the daily blessings You are bringing to help Miguel get to where he needs to be. Please bless Renee as she loves him through this. I pray in Jesus’ name, Amen
