  1. Good morning, Wanderers!

Today, here, is Beat the Holly Bush Day. A holly bush, old and plump, sits to the side of the Birthday Tree which has dropped most of its leaves. Each year I use the broom to beat the bush to let loose all the collected leaves. Perhaps I should have waited a couple of days to use that broom to beat out my frustration. No, that would be unfair to the holly bush.

  2. Good morning, all. Today is take the seven dwarfs to the vet for second shots day. They are all loaded up with no challenge. We leave the cat carriers out on the porch with comfy little rag piles for them. They sleep in the boxes whenever they like and are very comfortable with them. Pretty Kitty is also in a crate. She is not needed today but may feel better knowing where they are. Or she may just stay home and take a few hours off.

  3. Aw, kitties ….

I had a surprise evening visit last night from Buffy who wandered in the open sliding door (to accommodate Abby) while I was watching TV. Cats are so curious by nature. And it was so cute to see her in her little bell collar exploring my living room. I picked her up and sent her on her way home next door, but thoroughly enjoyed the cat vibes.

We have election meetings today to get everyone’s schedule and assignment set, I’m really hoping they put me on the day shift … those hectic, 6 p.m. to 2 a.m. shifts do me in anymore. I have two cities I was assigned to follow this year so those would be the returns I’d have to track and update.

  4. AJ, are you still using a yahoo email account? I cannot get a test email to go through. i had lost your email address when I changed phones and Mumsee and Kim both gave me a yahoo address but it kicks back. I may send some photos if I can get the address again. If you send it to Mumsee, she can send it to my new new proton account. Thanks!

  5. Abby was in the backyard, probably not even aware of it — but Abby loves kitties – at least she loved Annie Oakley and I’m sure she would have been thrilled to have a kitten visiting.

  6. Michelle and I agreed on a place and a time to meet! She is taking me out of my comfort zone on election day. Meaning anywhere other than home. But I am very excited to meet again.

Probably a good day to stay away from the news media. Waiting a day might be a good idea.

God is in control and He has a plan for our good.
