  2. I am thankful to the Lord for having finally gotten a plumber here to do some work. He had to order a toilet and then that will be done. The most important thing was the kitchen sink, but we will still have to find someone to do the countertop. Every little bit is nice to have done, as I am sure Kizzie would agree with.

  4. Amen…for cooler heads to prevail with a much needed dose of wisdom amongst our leaders.

    Always a relief to find competent tradesmen to fix what we cannot in our homes. Thankful for their expertise and honesty when we can find them!

  7. We’ll be inviting some women to join us this summer at an open Bible discussion one night a week.

    This is at the new church. We’re going to a kareoke night tonight and will hand out cards.

    Please pray we’re well received. We’re not looking for a lot of people, just a handful of women to stop by through the summer.

    Oh, our friend John is home from the hospital. Not much news coming out, but we’ve heard he’s doing okay.
